Attempting to revive a dead thread here.... but any chance you remember where you got that radio bracket from? This is the exact mounting point I'm wanting to put my radio, but can't find a bracket similar to that anywhere
I had something similar happen to me about 18 months ago. Had a pretty gnarly storm with high winds rip through SE MI. The wind pushing directly against the rear glass was enough pressure to get it to fold in on itself. Ford warrantied mine without any issues, took about 5 days to get the glass...
The gap differences in the rear window definitely do not mimmick the factory hard top. Not sure why they claimed that it does. I've never seen gaps that extreme in any of the factory hard tops that I've seen. Looks to me that the rear edges around the glass shrunk while in their mold/form and...
Unfortunately I havenāt taken hardly any pics after the install. It does sit higher, but only by about .5ā. This is the only pic I have of it on its own 4 feet and another pic with the size comparison between the 2 shocks
I did this same swap about a month ago on my 2 door badlands with the 7speed, just swapped the coilovers from a 4 door wildtrak. Made a huge difference! I had a leveling kit installed with the bilstein shocks, but did not install one with the fox shocks. Rides significantly better now...
Are those the stock 32" tires that come optional on the OB? I'm about to pick up some 3.0 take offs to install on my non-sas BL and was slightly concerned the tire size wouldn't match with the wheel well anymore. If those are the 32" tires it's a really good fit!
Y'all its happening!! FP just released the tune for the 2.3, under PN M-9603-B23. Just called my dealer to get it on order and the website is down, but I'd jump on it quickly before it gets backordered for who knows how long
That you can seeā¦. The parking lot where this happened can handle well over 1000 cars, and thereās a good handful of wranglers, both hard tops and soft tops parked in these lots, completely unscathed š¤·āāļø
Sounds like it will probably be 7-10 days, good thing thereās no more storms in the forecast so it shouldnāt get rained in more than it already has šš and that sticker was only $15, so itās no big deal, thankfully I was able to save the $36 ORV stickers though lmao
Hail was my first thought when I first saw it was gone, but I looked at both the hood and the roof and neither have any hail damage. Sounds like ford/the dealership will be completely covering it. At $1,300 for the rear window, yāall better take extra good care of your windows š
You can literally see the glass flexing, and the initial failure point at the top right corner by the hinge š¤¦āāļø Going 70+ on the highway doesnāt create forward pressure on a rear facing windowā¦
