Well I was going to give my dealer a shout out for sticking to MSRP, but since I've never met anyone who actually got their Bronco delivered after ordering it at this dealer, I cannot confirm or deny that fact.....;
Well good for you....I ordered my 2DR with Lux package a week before yours (after being booted from my MY21 order) and I had a reservation. I hope you enjoy your drive. I will continue to be hater as Ford continues to string us along....
You know, that number (reservations converted to actual orders) that are remaining to be scheduled (not built) -- because we need to know where Ford is on their effort to actually fulfill the "promise" (yuk yuk) of the reservation system.
I have a 2Dr on order with a reservation - order date is 15 Oct 21, however I was forced to roll over my MY21 order. Dealer has not brought up anything about not being able to get it....but who knows....
So what tools do I have to check my order status if I have not received a build date or VIN? How do I know that the dealer is not sitting on my order? I want to see that my order is properly in the system and I want to know that my reservation that I paid for is being appropriately considered...
I just changed my order BACK to the 2.3 and I'm happy. Thought the 2.7 was more than I needed. I drove a 2Dr 2.3 all day at Off-Roadeo and it was awesome....awesome.....torque when I needed it, great low rpm manners.....
Not saying 2.7 is a bad choice in any way -- but I don't need it and...
The two vehicles weigh within 200 pounds of each other so I'm sure the 2.3 has plenty but it won't be a hot rod like the 2.7. The 2.7 is a great engine also - this is actually the 2.0 version of the engine and it has some great updates....they had one on a stand at the Off Roadeo and it look...
you could get all you need from a drone by taking it straight up about 3-5 hundred feet and not putting it over the Broncs....a few seconds of pan footage (maybe a minutes worth) would give you all you need to count them....
I would dump the tow (you can get a hitch any time and you probably don't need the brake controller wiring)...MIC and SAS I would keep also because it seems that those commodities are not as dire as others.....If you have a 2Dr on order I strongly advise rethinking the 2.7 vs the 2.3. I...
