Taken off at 6000 miles. Good shape. Some light scuffs in places, nothing bad - just trying to be honest. Lug nuts included. $500 obo. Western Chicago burbs.
So, I did my 6100's last weekend. Clip 5 (highest) in the rear and Clip 5 (supposedly 2") in front. While it was on the lift, we did a full RCI skid setup and Havoc TrailCrawler steps - so about 200lbs was added to the truck.
I got the adverstised lift in the rear, and a little over an inch in...
This is the exact (except 6100'S) I am planning to install. Ordered my 6100's on Sunday from @stage3motorsports. Hopefully, the arrive soon.
I don't plan on putting them on the max height ring as I don't want to spend $ for new UCAs and am still afraid of too much lift and the steering...
I will likely replace my Territories with KO2s (or likely KO3s by then). I was originally concerned about the orginal rubber. But I have found them pretty good for daily driving, FWIW. Make sure the pressure is set correctly (air them down a bit).
There are those of us looking to replace the garbage stock (base) Halogens. Or at least considering it. I really like the look of the flush lights from Oracle. I might pick them up the next time they go on sale. Looks upgrade AND function upgrade for $400, I'll consider, but still not a slam...
Full RCI Steel Skids + Gas Tank
BroncBuster Tie Rod Brace
Oracle Fog lights
last week..
Kicker KS speaker, Kicker key Amp, and Hideaways HS10 ..$1100
And my wallet just got lighter..
Good point. I may be okay with just upgrading the speakers. I am thinking maybe I buy the most efficient I can get to start with, which are the infinity’s.
I know this is a loaded question, but I am not sure how decide as I have zero experience with car audio (in the last 20 years). My Basesquatch Bronco was built yesterday, and I am awaiting shipment. I have read most of the threads here, but many are older.
My plan:
1. Replace all 4" speakers...
The price on these is certainly right. As someone who will be doing mild/moderate trails (not extreme) do you think they would offer decent protection?
Can I ask a related question? I should (hopefully) be receiving my Bronco (BASESQUATCH w/ mod number) next month. I am considering the metalclaock system, as my understanding is the front bash plate is all I am going to get from Ford. Looking at the metal cloak instructions, it is written...
It is. See this thread here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-build-process-guide-window-sticker-blend-date-production-rotation-number-built-shipped-emails-delivery-date-estimates-more.24987/
