Thanks for posting thanks for posting this. I have a 2.7 Badlands and I’m pretty sure I’m going to do this. Not for day-to-day use, because it sleeps in a garage when at home. But it would be nice for peace-of-mind while traveling.

LOL, I wouldn’t go more than 2 miles with a 13, 10, and 8 year old in the back seat. Absolute Hell. If we’re bringing all the sex trophies, we take the trophy case (aka the minivan).

I installed the gatorbacks about a month ago. It was easier than I thought it would be and I’m no mechanic. I didn’t remove the wheels. Highly recommend.

I have the same looseness on the driver's side. Loose on the passenger side, but not quite as much. My tension cable seems to be properly situated.
