  1. Diabolical Slipstream Security Enclosure Review and Installation

I’ve had the Slipstream for about 2 years. Its always creaked and rattled. A couple of weeks ago I finally got around to completely dismantling it, put rubber washers everywhere that metal touches metal, applied FlexSeal to the square part of the bolts, and FlexSeal to the pins. Completely...
  2. GearShade SunShade Tops for Broncos

I also had the front center ball break. I used an extra 15" bungee ball to create a new one. Here's some pics. I included pics of the shortened front bungee. These pics are the "2.0" version. Originally, I just wrapped the bungees along the same path as the straps. But, doing that...
  3. GearShade SunShade Tops for Broncos

I love the top, but I find the back straps are awkward to tighten or remove, and the straps need to be secured to keep them from flapping everywhere. I bought these 15-inch bungees on Amazon and to replace the straps and they seem to work great so far. Joneaz Bungee Cord with Balls 15...
  4. GearShade Limb Risers - With Quick Release!

That was easy. Maybe 20 minutes for first install. Half the tools needed come with the Bronco. For easy removal from the top, I do recommend a small pair of pliers like these: What I Like: 1. Looks Cool. 2. Quick & Easy Off. Completely removable in less than 2 minutes (including the...

  6. Security devices?

Thanks for posting thanks for posting this. I have a 2.7 Badlands and I’m pretty sure I’m going to do this. Not for day-to-day use, because it sleeps in a garage when at home. But it would be nice for peace-of-mind while traveling.
  7. Who uses their Bronco as a family vehicle?

LOL, I wouldn’t go more than 2 miles with a 13, 10, and 8 year old in the back seat. Absolute Hell. If we’re bringing all the sex trophies, we take the trophy case (aka the minivan).
  8. Problems [CLOSED DUE TO DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR]

If you’re having Bronco problems I feel bad for you son. I’ve got 99 problems but a Bronco ain’t one.
  9. Gatorbacks MudFlaps pics & experiences

I installed the gatorbacks about a month ago. It was easier than I thought it would be and I’m no mechanic. I didn’t remove the wheels. Highly recommend.

  13. Opening an app on my iPhone flips audio to CarPlay

this is more of a “parked in the car line” problem, not a driving problem. it may be a sound issue, but I have the sound turned off in the app.
  14. Opening an app on my iPhone flips audio to CarPlay

Curious if I'm the only one who's found that opening a certain app on my iPhone causes the audio system source to switch from whatever was playing (for example AM radio) to CarPlay. It will then automatically start playing the last open audio from my iPhone. For example, if the last thing I...
