Working on it.
I do wonder though, if there was a connector change in the harness itself, so are there MY21-22 harnesses, and MY23 harnesess now, or is the latest harness compatible with both scenarios?
Took the attached pic yesterday afternoon. Leads me to believe the installer didn't have the right version of the instructions, or that he fixated on the MY21-22 instructions. I also attached a snip of the instructions that show the MY23 instructions. Still not 100% proof of compatibility, but...
I hear you, my windshield has been cracked for at least 10 months now. Luckily it hasn't spread for a while so I'm just sitting tight before I replace it.
Did you consider mounting it to the passenger side plastic housing instead of on the windshiled? I would just like to keep the windshield as unc;luttered as possible.

Thanks for the input! FWIW, I think my Bronco was built Dec '22.
I'm leaning more and more to thinking the installer either didn't have the current directions, or that he was looking at the MY21-22. I'll know a lot more once I get that wheel well liner off.

So the short story is that when I went to a dealer to have the tow harness and brake controller installed, they couldn't complete it since the tech said my Bronco did not have one of the connectors that they were expecting and needed to install the harness.
I didn't realize the differences...
THANK YOU for these instructions. I've been on a six month journey with Accessories.Ford and a dealer to get the harness and brake controller installed (I'll post a full documentation once things get squared away - assuming they do). The latest issue was the technician said the right plugs...
No doubt the same marketing geniuses who decided to water down the Mustang name with the Mach-E, and the same marketing geniuses who decided to water down the Bronco name with the Bronco Sport.

I still see it, and I can place it in my cart. That's as far as I'll take the exploration, since I already succesfully ordered a set a little while ago.

OK, I had to check on the Icon webpage to make sure these work for a '23, and thankfully they do. The Amazon page only show compatibility for '21-'22.
Ordered.
Not opposed to adding cool shit to my Bronco, but aside from limiting the maximum opening of the tailgate, what load does the strut pass on to the tailgate? Is this just to beef up the tailgate for when the weight of the tailgate/tire combo swings open too fast?
