  1. Headlights remain on 10 mins after shutoff

Ford is developing a new headlamp switch for Bronco and F150 for various issues including staying on or turning on when the vehicle is off. Expected availability is sometime this fall.
  2. Who hates their 10spd besides me?

1500 miles so far with a 2.7l. Have no complaints with transmission performance.

Appreciate your candor. Ford (and every other publicly traded company) primarily cares about their stock price - a position driven by the Ford family and the BOD. This focus makes them spreadsheet junkies. That’s not to say being profitable isn’t important but there needs to be a balance. I...

As a 29.5 years employee what, do you believe, is the root cause of this? I’m very interested in your perspective on this. As a 25 yr Ford dealership employee I have many thoughts on FMC practices. All for the dealership perspective of course.

Less technology in so many things would be a relief. Drives me crazy how appliances are overly reliant on technology. Control panels fail all the time. Give me reliable appliances without the computer bs and I’m happy. Same thing when it comes to vehicles. Fewer complex systems (within reason...
  9. [Update: It’s Back!!] Delivered Bronco taken back to Michigan by Ford

Typically, dealerships don’t get to tell Ford what the cost of repairs will be. All dealerships are tied to their sales and service agreement and that means Ford sets the labor times and rates dealerships get reimbursed - which often times is inadequate. That being said, the last 2.5 years has...

Built on 4/20 and was on plant hold for 10 days. Finally was released then shipped on 5/7. Currently on a rail car somewhere between Chicago and Oregon.

Does Ford still send out production line photos or is that a thing of the past?
  13. 4/18/22 Build Week Group.

Bronco is on a rail car. Amazing. Possibly early to mid June?

So, for vehicles that are classified as "Delayed-Plant hold" - this is the definition: " The vehicle is not yet shippable or is experiencing a delay with plant Release." This comes from a Ford vehicle tracking web page that dealerships have access to. Unfortunately, there is no additional...

I wouldn't put much stock in the ETA dates. I'm on the west coast and they're giving me the same eta dates but I know that's not accurate. Shipping by rail, then convoy, will take way more time than that.

It’s a vehicle tracker used at the dealership. Updated this afternoon to the plant hold status. No additional information though.

So excited! just got the "Delayed-Plant Hold" Status update. Couldn't be happier!!
  18. 4/18/22 Build Week Group.

Confirmed as of 4/20 the vehicle is "in production" with a "produced" condition. Also, BCE modules populated on 4/20. However, no change with the "in production" and "produced" status as of this afternoon. No "Built" email. Makes me wonder what is holding up shipment. I did order Keyless entry...
