Yeah my want vs need boiled down to needing a vehicle I know will be reliable, a vehicle I know I can get now and not 3 years from now, and a vehicle that gets good gas mileage. I personally walked away for now. I really don't need the headache.
If people keep paying the raised prices they'll keep upping them. I'm out for now for this reason. Maybe I'll get a used one down the line or a new one if they get their shit together, but I have no interest in paying a premium to wait for an indefinite amount of time.

Agreed, and anyone else who has this problem should do the same. They can only get away with what they're allowed to get away with. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of this in the future based on the window drop issues people have been reporting.
