This! I use one once a month in warmer months. Here in this Texas sun it's bound to ruin the rubber, so I try to protect it as best as possible. I've had my Bronco for almost 3 years and the rubber seals still look good. And the top is off all summer long in direct sunlight.
I have the exact same build. MT as well. I switched to Toyo AT open country tires a couple of years ago and did not notice any differences. I did have to add a 2 inch body lift/level kit and added 1.5 in spacers because I was getting rub at full lock.
I feel like the wind noise is the same either way. But I'm used to it. I never even think about the wind noise. I only notice it when ride in my husband's "quiet" sedan. Lol, i'm usually top and doors off though.
That is correct. I just had to replace mine last week after them being installed for 10 months. One of the DRL LEDs started to go out. It was pretty painless. Contacted them on a monday and they shipped overnight got them on Wednesday, replaced them on Saturday, mailed back the old ones.
Rarely do I get to speeds where I could use 5th or 6th. Most of my driving is during rush hour on I35 to and from work. So I mainly use 2nd gear. Sometimes I get to 3rd, only for the person in front of me to slam on their brakes and it's back to 2nd gear....😒
The first pic shows it. A green spot showed up on the driver's side DRL. Seems to be a common issue. I run mine on the a i installed thember color since that one is legal. Showed up 10 months after initial install.
Just want to say thanks to Morimoto for making my warranty replacement a breeze!
Noticed on Monday that one of my headlights had an issue. So I contacted Morimoto. They immediately processed my warranty claim and shipped the next day. They arrived the very next day and I replaced them this...
