I use a mototote and an extended draw-tite hitch rated to 675 lbs tongue weight, most bronco hitches are rated lower. The carrier itself is rated to 600 lbs, and I intend to carry my adventure bike on this. This dirt bike only weighs about 220 lbs and I've driven it for hours, very solid...
It softens up a tad but always has a pretty solid "tough" engagement. I like it, reminds me of race cars I've interacted with and owned
I've had it installed for 1500 miles now, i regularly move it pretty limp wristed with 2 or 3 fingers, I think you'll be fine once it breaks in and you adapt...
I get between 19 and 21 mpg average mixed driving, that's in a mostly stock 2dr manual sasquatch
Have not done a loaded up road trip yet, sure is a lot better than my old Cherokee crawler was! (14-16 mpg)
The only way I've been able to make it work as expected is to completely remove the FordPass app from my phone.
Have had the dealer look at the issue to no avail, then one day I got frustrated and started diagnosing by removing possible conflicts and that pretty much solved 99% of all android...
No regrets! I'm glad the 4 door exists for those that want it but I absolutely love my 2 door.
An added practical bonus to the 2 door is that I can park it inside my 1 car garage with motorcycles in a row ahead of it. Would not be possible with a 4 door! This isn't a daily driver for me so...
Had my axle back idea welded up today, I have had multiple Spintech mufflers and think they're the bees knees:
It's a 3" inlet for future-proofing and they just filled the gap with weld, I'm ok with that! I somewhat wish it was closer to the side but honestly this is simple, light, and easy...
Thanks! Yeah I've had 3 of them, I love the KDX, this one was a parts bike in boxes until covid and I made it running again. No i'm saying I have a separate ADV bike, an Aprilia Tuareg 660. Was stating that the carrier will behave differently with 2x the weight on the hitch, but all is within...
I agreed with the concern that it seemed too tall and odd in photos, I took a chance on it I guess and am really pleased! Shifts are more solid and quick, feels very race car. In person I love the way it looks, I've had a few older ford trucks with sticks and it looks more correct to me now 😅...
Assembled and tested my motorcycle carrier today, love it!
It rides and handles really nice with it back there, not awkward at all! We'll see when i put the adv bike on it but minimal sagging and the 2 door wasn't odd at all on the highway, over bumps, or in corners with this on.
First off, love the results, the shifter is completely worth it and I'm really glad I installed it at such an early stage of the bronco's life.
I was tempted to make a video cause I haven't seen any on the install itself but I have no faculties for that and just wanted to jam it out. Overall...
SAME
I have always viewed the mustang and bronco as parity vehicles and it made tons of sense to me for them to be around the same cost with no options or trims. I love my bronco because it is what it is, it isn't a g-wagon and never will be. These are simple no-frills vehicles with some awful...
Like sure but I am comparing apples to apples base to base. Sasquatch is a whole other can of noodles, Ford came out swinging with an option-able enthusiast package that doesn't require you going to a rubicon-like trim, that was up to jeep to respond to or not, a-la opening up competition. Jeep...
I was shocked when i recently built mine for fun just to see. About $7,500 price increase pre tax for my exact build 2022 vs 2023 is absolutely insane for the same vehicle. Ford is price gouging hard and it really makes it hard for me to recommend the bronco anymore to friends that were...
Heck yes this is exactly what I've been looking for! Thanks for designing them, been seeking frame mount sliders that can bolt on in a less destructive fashion. I'm not emotionally ready to weld to or drill the frame yet 😅
For me 4A was a dealbreaker. I would've considered not picking sasquatch package if I could've just optioned it. Where I live we get icy slippery roads and having that feature is ideal for it and peace of mind, plus in terms of upgrade path and use-case I'm more into the prerunner end of things...
