Yes, absolutely the 2.7L is a dog and unfitting for a $50k vehicle. An off-road open top and a V8 is a match made in heaven.

I think the price is a bit crazy but the idea is exactly what the off-road community has been needing for the past 10 years since the last V8 offroader left the stage. Realistically this should be a $50k Jeep for the Everyman, paying $50k to be stuck with a 6 cylinder is laughable at best.

I don’t mind spending money for a vehicle I want, but a 4 cylinder is an entry level engine whether it has 200HP or 800HP, so $40k for a 4 cylinder? Hell no, even if it had decent sized tires.

F150 has tiny 255 tires, 3.15 gearing, active aero shudders, air dams out the arse, plastic cladding under the truck directing air flow, the tires are tucked into the body and air is directed away from them, the truck has tons of little things that add up. The Bronco doesn’t have those things...

How are they impossible? They seem quite reasonable if it were a V8, and being that the smaller engines will likely spend their lives in boost it makes sense to a degree that MPG would be in the high teens.

Bronco has no option for AWD, auto 4wd engages a temporary 50:50 split after slip has been detected, its reactive, different than a proactive AWD system.

Ehh Toyota’s not made in Japan have been trash for a long time, hardly surprising. OTOH the Japanese built trucks are very good quality, my mother has averaged 19.1MPG on her 2016 4Runner which has been flawless
