Hard to fathom people are so fearful that is an actual concern/law. The sheriff and police here expect there is a firearm in most if not all pickups and is not a big deal. I guess when you have more cattle than people in your state there is less time to craft restrictive statutes!

Ordered mine from Tuffy. Very pleased with it. Removed all but the back divider. Recovey gear goes in the back of the drawer use forward portion for securing items. Installed plywood cap for strength.

Plenty of room behind drawer and rear seat for traction boards. Keep mine in black bag so they disappear in cargo area.
Unlike some I am most pleased with the Tuffy drawer. I too did the plywood top and rubber mat with factory tie dons mounted on top. Definitely added strength to top.
