  1. Surprise "Your Bronco Arrived" Text!!!

We have an EV (2022 Tesla Model 3), and I can tell you, we are likely getting rid of it in the next year or so. Range anxiety is an issue, and from what I understand, the lightning is actually worse (particularly if you plan to tow with it). You could flip that lightning for a considerable...
  2. Can you ceramic coat the MIC hardtop?

I’ve ceramic coated a lot of surfaces without issue. It’s worth picking up something like Avalon King’s Armor Shield IX and trying a small section out. I’ve done fenders before (though fiberglass) and it worked great. As others have said, though, it’s designed for a smoother surface, so results...
  3. Havoc New Products For Bronco

Seconding this - if these bolt over OEM sliders, they are a no-brainer.
  4. My Bronco was sold to someone else.

OP, this entire thing is just.. awful. I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I agree with others when they say, don't let this go, regardless of what happens. This is absolutely unacceptable on the dealership's end. I would plant my ass in their dealership and demand to speak to the general...
  5. Currently available winch solutions for 2021+ Bronco

Man, didn't catch the cutting requirement for installation, good eye. Won't be going that route after all! Damn!
  6. Currently available winch solutions for 2021+ Bronco

Forgive me if this has been posted already since I didn't read all 18 pages of this thread, but RC recently dropped a 2.7L compatible hidden winch, which I will likely be going with Hidden Winch Mount 2.7L Ford Bronco
  7. Free Stuff is Always the Best Stuff!

Man, this thread is straight up Bronco porn! Thanks for the inspiration while I wait, guys. These are some stellar pics!
  8. Snapped a Tie Rod … thankful for trail mates

This is an absurd price, but I haven't seen it posted here so: https://fabtechmotorsports.com/product/tie-rod-heim-kit-fts22349/ Again, definitely straight up price-gouging on that. I've heard that Rough Country and a few other companies have replacement high-strength tie rods coming out for...
  9. Bronco Pricing Forecast

I'm going to agree with others - in my opinion, the supply chain issues will not be resolved for at minimum a year or two. Even in the event the constraints for supply chains have been alleviated by the end of the year (not likely), it will take the market a year or two simply to catch up with...
  10. Family Road Trip to Yellowstone via Bronco Turns into Quite an Adventure

This was so cool to read! Thank you for sharing, I can’t wait to get my Bronco to go on trips like this! We’re also in Southern California, and plan on taking it to Yosemite and Moab. This got me so excited for those trips!
  11. Regrets??

I'm trading in a 2011 BMW M3 with a V8. I'm sure I'll miss it, but it's such a completely different vehicle for different things that I think I'll be okay. I'll be building a sports car anyway, so that'll scratch the itch!
  12. Regrets??

Haven't received my Bronco, no VIN, no production date etc., but I have no regrets with my order. I have about every constraint sans the tow package, and I'm not budging!
  13. Well, This sucks.

If it's any consolation, if you haven't received a VIN yet, I doubt you'll take delivery this year, so you may yet have more time to save. If the vehicle slides into next year (and I say this because I've got a similar build as yours, but with 2.7 auto), the likelihood of interest rates...
  14. .

Do you know how many of these people think they have money for a $60k vehicle, but actually don't? Even now there are quite a few abandoning orders because they couldn't get financed. Imagine in a year's time with interest rates normalizing at 4.5% on the low side.
  15. .

We are smack in the middle of a recession. Interest rates are going to hike again June 14-18th, per the feds. They have outwardly stated they do not care about the effects it has on the economy, they are staving off stagflation as much as humanly possible, and trying to curb inflation. If we're...
  16. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I feel like the answer to this is incredibly simple - take it to your dealer immediately, inform them it's part of the production series that had bad valves in 2.7L engines, and have them take care of it.
  17. .

...not everyone has a situation like this. Friend of mine ordered his Black Diamond 4dr in October 21, same time I did. He takes delivery in 3 weeks. Lux package, soft top, no two, sasquatch. It's kind of a crapshoot..
  18. Depressed and Frustrated (WARNING: Reservation Rant inside)

I'm a 10/21 order holder with no reservation, and I'm getting antsy, so I can only imagine how you early res holders are feeling. This thread definitely bums me out and makes me sad for OP. I agree that Ford's lack of communication has been absolutely atrocious and is puzzling, but all I can do...
  19. Jeep Wrangler Owner (Bronco on order) - I've got questions

I'm not a Jeep owner for what it's worth, but grew up in a manual 86 CJ that belonged to my dad (sat on 35 MTs with a 3" lift if I remember correctly). I even learned to drive in that thing. To top that off, test-drove a '18 Rubicon Unlimited this past weekend because I was getting impatient...
  20. Tacoma to Bronco any regrets?

A friend of mine has a 2021 Taco TRD Pro. He's really considering trading it in for a Bronco, if he can find one on the lot available (he doesn't want to wait - don't blame him). Here's some pros and cons from my perspective, and his opinions: Taco: - Infotaiment, as others have said, is dog...
