  1. Seat cover install, can't get seat Molle panels hooked back on (Solved!)

I put seat covers on 2 years ago but could not figure out how to remove the moly panels on the back of the front seats. How do I get the panels out so I can install the panels over the covers?

  3. BDS KOH coilover suspension lift - reviews / feedback?

I saved up and bought the 74Weld rack and it is worth every penny. Why spend 2k now to possibly crack a housing then have to buy it all later and cost even more. Replacement was simple and I am super happy with it. I am using a rough country 2.5" lift, RC UCA's and Broncbuster perch collars...
  4. UCA making contact with springs with minimal articulation.

Thank you for the solid advice. I was considering taking the perch collar lift out and test it, I am not liking the feel of the ride. I have some considering to do. Thank you again
  5. UCA making contact with springs with minimal articulation.

I marked the spring and shock in 2 places to ensure proper alignment, took apart and back together in reverse order. There is a short side to the spacers, short toward engine in front and toward the front in the rear. Checked and rechecked, all together as supposed to be. I grew up working on...
  6. UCA making contact with springs with minimal articulation.

Put the RC 2.5" lift with Bronc Buster 1.5 Perch Collar lift on my Badlands Sas. The RC lift came.with new UCA's which after the alignment the UCA's have plenty of space while driving but as soon as I articulate the front the low side droop maxes out with the UCA hitting the spring. Can I fix...
  7. New 2.3 after only 262 miles

Ground electrode broke off and tore up the cylinder, a defect in the metal of the electrode.
  8. New 2.3 after only 262 miles

The engine didn't blow, I got an alert that I had a misfire (which I already knew, happened as I was on an acceleration ramp merging onto the highway). No bad noises, just a misfire. Turns out the grounding electrode broke off and tore up the cylinder. Just a freak thing. Due to only having...
  9. New 2.3 after only 262 miles

Great news, have my 2022 Bronco Badlands High Sasquatch package in Carbonized Grey back with a new 2.3 after only 262 Miles. Waldorf Ford bent over backwards for me. Thank you Donald from.new car sales and Aaron from service!!! You guys mad the situation bearable. Thank you to the tech...
  10. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

I already stated that this is so rare that every mechanic (to include very experienced Ford Mechanics with decades of experience) I have talked to has ever seen it happen, including me and I have built and worked on cars since the 1970's. Why do you feel compelled to continue to justify your...
  11. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

Dropping a valve sounds a hell of a lot different than a simple misfire (glad you did not have to have your engine replaces). I am not arguing with you but you are hell bent on justifying your stance. Sometimes you have to say, you know what, that makes sense and I wasn't there to pass...
  12. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

Well, I found out what the misfire was. Scanner said misfire on #1 cylinder so i did switch the #1 and #3 coil packs and the miss continued but did not change to #3. I had it towed to the dealer and hoped for the best, a spark plug at best or an injector at worst. The following day I went to...
  13. Misfire on cylinder 1

I will do an update tomorrow
  14. Misfire on cylinder 1

I have a 2.3L. To be fair the engine did not blow. The metal that broke off the plug beat up the cylinder and the head. The engine still runs but the damage done by the piece of metal destroyed the cylinder to where the engine needs replaced. I saw the pictures, it did some damage.
  15. Misfire on cylinder 1

Well, 262 miles on my Bronco and figured out the misfire. Scanner said misfire on #1 cylinder so i did switch the #1 and #3 coil packs and the miss continued but did not change to #3. I had it towed to the dealer and hoped for the best, a spark plug at best or an injector at worst. The...
  16. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

Well, I moved coil packs because I have a misfire on 1. Put one on 3 and 3 on 1..... no difference and no code change so I called and had my Bronco towed to the dealership..... I will advise as soon as I know
  17. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

I was basically hoping to hear something like..... have heard a lot of people say a coil pack was loose and has to be seated, or maybe..... a particular wire connection is known to come lose just plug it back in. Although I am very capable of working on it I will not dig into it further...
  18. 260 miles and engine light started flashing and engine sputtering, fiels like it is not firing on all cylinders.

Well, easy there, I am going to take it in for service, but appointments are at least 14 days out. I live 20 miles from dealership. I was looking for suggestions for any known simple issues that would not require service so I can drive my Bronco. If it is not something simple that I can do I...
