Does anyone have answers to these questions. Basically want to buy a base Badlands, add bigger tires at later date and was curious about gearing. Also curious if Badlands will take 35" tires or is additional lift and different fender flares required?
This is my question as well since Badlands gets 3/4 of what comes with Sasquatch so I"m hoping Sasquatch package is heavily discounted for the Badlands trim with lockers. I think there may be a slight difference in height so I'm not sure if there is a lift kit associated with the Sasquatch...
Any concerns about gearing difference of Badlands vs Sasquatch with 33/35" tires? If I recall correctly Badlands will be 4.46 gears, Sasquatch 4.7 gears.
Ordering Badlands 4dr; (gets me 3/4th of Sasquatch package) with lockers and for 1st 2-3 years will likely only do light off-roading. Plan...
I'd much prefer ability to safely store freedom panels vs doors. If I"m taking the doors off I'm fully committed but many times it's a trip to town for errands on seemingly nice summer day only to get caught by a downpour so having the freedom panels with me is key.
Also nice for security...
I prefer chrome wheels, not a fan of the all black wheel craze. My personal preference are the Badland wheels with 35" all-terrain tire but that's not an option.
I'm curious if the price is the same for a package such as Sasquatch as the Badlands already includes the lockers? I'd hate to pay...
4dr Badlands reserved July 14th. Locking front/rear mandatory, sway-bar disconnect high priority. Would like 4.7 gears but not ready for 35 MT's day one so likely not going with Sasquatch.
On the fence as well, been planning the 2dr; better looks, better off-road clearance, easier top removal. Will I take $50K new rig serial off-road, probably not for 1st few years. 2dr jeep PITA room wise, no room for soft-top, can't take cooler and chairs, backseat for small kids only...
