Man that's a bummer. Your sales guy can't get it transported to the dealership for immediate sale? Ford's estimate at this point is based solely on the fact that it's still at the train yard. AFAIK the rail company has to arrange shipment, but if the sales guy's calling the yard like look...
Same here. Alarm goes off every day just a bit after 6 PM, if I'm driving I get a hood ajar message. 2023 picked it up just on the 24th.
Poked around under the hood but not sure where the sensor is.
When mine unloaded, Ford lost track of where it was and added 2 weeks to the delivery estimate. My sales guy contacted the rail yard and had it delivered a couple days later and had it ready for me that afternoon. You're probably just a couple days away from taking ownership!
Nice to see I'm not the only one getting a late pic. Picked up mine on Tuesday, got my baby pic today. Someone must have kicked the gumball machine and they're all coming out at once now. Happy to hear that's fixed!
Mine? Mine!
My dealer texted me to tell me he personally called the train yard and had the truck brought over, so they'd do the prep work on it tomorrow morning and I could pick it up tomorrow evening. When it got there he told me it had arrived and I asked if it would be OK for me to...
Weird the dealer doesn't have your railcar number, but not so weird they know where the car is. They're using VinView which is apparently very accurate about the car's position.
Chat should know your rail car number though.
I think this comparison shows my thoughts pretty well. I like 'em both but I definitely like the Sas over the Raptor. The Raptor has too much in her saddle bags, if you get my meaning.
For anyone having trouble with price protection, my dealership was unsure how that would work, but taking some advice from another thread I mentioned looking in "Smart Vincent" and my sales guy immediately knew what to do and found my price protection straight away. Hope that helps!
So I talked to my dealership and indeed he has access to VIN VIEW, which is a significantly more accurate tracker than whatever Ford Chat is using. Yesterday my train arrived in El Mirage, but Ford updated my est. delivery to 2-3 weeks from now. Sales guy expects it early this coming week...
So after confirming with my sales guy the train car I had been assigned would arrive today, it arrived this morning at 530a, Ford updates my delivery estimate to 3 weeks from now. He's off today so I hit up Ford Chat for the wtf. They say my Bronco was removed from the train in Blue Island IL...
Sorry man, Ford's Marketing department says the photos are random, not everyone gets them and they can't request them.
Kind of a bummer I was looking forward to it too.
I'm still on a train with a few others here. Gibson and Garret were more than a day each, then the train scooted right along up till 3:30p yesterday where it stopped in Clovis NM. I'm guessing after over 1000 miles the train needed some attention. Here's hoping it gets moving again presently...
So I've been staring at this statement for a while and can't figure out what they're talking about. I've clicked through all the links and am coming up empty.
What are they talking about?
Guess I'll post a "me too" here. Been sitting in Clovis NM since 3:30 yesterday. The anticipation is almost painful it's so close yet still completely out of reach.
I deal a bit in customer relations on a professional level, so when I see this I just cringe and have to ask who on earth approved THAT abomination?! A big company like Ford and no communications gatekeeper? Is this a leaked document or did they really just send that to a whole bunch of customers?
