I used velcro on the fuse box no problem for 5k miles. It did suck when you had to pull the fuses but they fixed it! I donāt expect to be in the fuse box much.
Have you loaded the bronco with all your gear and measure with you in it? My rake is also significant with a bumper and winch but rides level when ready for travel.
what I do lose is the ground clearance and want to get the heavy/heavy spring setup from EMU but they donāt have a sku for the 2...
I had this happen as well on two separate trips. Exactly as described by others. Once in the winter and again heading west on the highway. On the last trip it happened 3 times but not on the way back. Driving into a headwind at a high speed seems to be the issue.
I also wonder if the fresh air...
i have both trailer wiring and Flat tow wiring with the curt connectors. Itās very tight with both of them. It pushes in the panel some so there is a little gap.
I wired the flat tow resister first, then the tow lights, then the brake light.
Definitely a trade off. Maybe the future electric bronco with some smart adjustable suspension and payload leveling will make it work for everyone all the time with detachable
ElectroMagnetic accessories!
thanks for the input
I did this build with weight in mind. Rack is aluminum. Tent is one of lightest on market. Awning is lightest hard-case on market. I took out one back seat.
Iāve got plenty of dyneema in my backpack and love that too.
the bronco will be getting the OME heavy spring package when it come out...
I blew past my payload and even the axle rating on max load out. Had an extra passenger and gear that wouldnāt be typical. It all adds up fast.

I just installed the same bumper and looking at lights. What do you think about smallerish cutouts for the pod lights Theyāre a bit rectangle on mine. Does the hole frame your ss3 light ok or is it cut off some? I want to mount a kc era 3 but it might be too big.
I understand one should not reverse while flat towing. Is there any scenario where a second driver could be in the toad for a reverse procedure where it would be successful in most instances?
after 750 days I got the bronco expecting to use the mod bumper shackle receivers To flat tow. In the my 21-22 carryover is was replaced with the capable bumper and I didnāt catch it.
The blue ox baseplates were on back order so I hacked the d rings back to shackles.
3 months after blend date Iāve gone from in production (chip hold) to built->awaiting shipment. Ford back in feb said theyād work to clear the builds on the mountain within 90 days. It happened.
On Chip hold and forgotten about š. enough people have their broncos now no one cares, esp @Ford Motor Company, as they offer no communication beyond investor calls after sending hammocks and posters. Coming up on 700 days since order and 3 mo in production. I would be long gone if it wasnāt...
