A few weeks shouldn't be a problem as stated. I have left mine at the airport for three weeks without issue when I got back. If the battery management system detects the battery getting to low. Your Bronco will go to deep sleep mode. Which is nothing more then it turned off all the extra...
If the Peg itself is broken, I would treat it like a woodworking problem.
Fit the peg parts back together, if they can be reassembled with out any big gaps you are in luck.
Clean each side of the parts with denatured alcohol.
Get a good plastic glue (Gorilla glue)
Wet one side of the part...
To each their own. I like the smaller round lights. A friend likes the larger square lights. He thinks they look good, I don't. Neither one of us is wrong because it is his rig and his chose. If you are looking for a set. Look at a lot of pictures, and see what looks good to you.
I have a little over 7k miles on mine. In May it will be a year old. I have off roaded it a few times with mud water and rocks. I will change mine at around 10K because of the mud/water off roading. If I was just driving it on dirt roads rocks or just to the mall, I would follow Ford...
I had a tune on my last few trucks. If I had to bring them to the dealer for warranty work, where they would possible have to hook up to do any firmware work, I would set it back to stock first just to be sure.
I drive both. My F150 is way more comfortable on long trips than the Bronco. With that said I have done TN to TX and TN to FL in my Bronco I found myself stopping a little bit more to get out and stretch. Nothing to bad.
If I could only have one the F150 wins easily.

I had a 2013 Shelby GT500 in Ohio. I stored it every winter with a battery tender on it, it started no issues. I stored that because it wouldn't go in the snow.
How I stored it.
Full tank of gas
1 Make a list and drop it on driver seat
2 hook up battery tender
3 drier sheets in engine bay...
The dealer I use put's an ELO tracker on all their vehicles on the lot. When I bought my F150 and my Bronco I told them to remove them before I left the lot. My daughter and a friend bought from them also, they also told them to remove them before they left the lot.
You answered your own question. They worked for you with only one little complaint of the rocks fling. I also like them so far for the off roading I do, they have worked great. I watched another brand plug up with mud and get super slick, so it couldn't crawl over rocks.
When the time...
I super clean them.
0000 Steel Wool rub all the glass on the outside (no need to clean it first)
Use Rain X concentrate on a blue Scott paper towel. Fold it in quarters and wipe in circles.
Let sit until the glass hazes over and redo the Rain X
Let haze again then use a damp blue Scott paper...
I used the Harbor Freight trailer hitch plate. It has held up very well with my use. I sort of cheated on the cable. I bought jumper cables from Amazon and cut one end off and installed the Anderson 250 amp plug. Jumper cables.
Then I cut off I put another Anderson plug on so I could use...
I had a 2015 F150 with the 2.7. I sold it with 306K plus on it. Ran great no issues. I started to have an oil leak around 280K. It was the pan gasket. I sold it with the oil leak cause a quart between oil changes is not enough to warrant it to be changed.
