i would take a non removable hard top as long and they have an option for a open green house. basically a ford ranger with a bronco front end and a panoramic sunroof. lol. sasquached of course!
all jeep needed to do was put this front end on the gladiator and not the wrangler front and i would have thrown my money at them. but on the other hand, if ford does do a bronco truck then i want the bronco front on it. nice and chunky like an old international harvester scout pickup.
I see about the same of each here in my part of Texas. I don’t see the ranger as on the same level as a Tacoma so they’re going to have to up their game there but I’m fine waiting to see if the broncup pans out.
i can see that but ford, being about diversity of profit would probably keep the ranger and add the pickup to the bronco sub brand. just for the profit idea of adding another vehicle to your inventory creates a new buyer, even if it is another pickup.
originally, i reserved two, four door broncos. i have three kids and have wondered from the beginning if it would be big enough to comfortably seat us all and have enough room for gear and whatever. but the longer i've thought on it, the more i see that a pickup would fit my needs better that...
i'm no loyalist, i'm an opportunist. so, i will go for whoever offers the most bang for my buck. if toyota were to put something out that competes with the design and mech specs of a bronco or jeep them i'm in. toyota has one of the best off road reps so it would absolutely worth a look if the...
Thought about that too, but might run the line through the floor and mount an air QD tucked up underneath somewhere By the hitch or something so it doesn’t get snagged on something.
My use would just be for general overlanding. I saw one on the road today being pulled by a Subaru Forester. It looked perfect for me and my wife and I’ll throw a rooftop tent on the bronco for the kids. But you’re right. It’s no turtle back trailer but it would do great for me.
