You can add me to the list of front diff issues. Noticed oil on the skid plate when performing my last oil change. Oil appears to be seeping from diff seal. Not dripping yet but definitely oil residue. Got an appointment with the dealer in a few weeks to look at it. 22 SAS OBX, 8500 miles.
Two years now and still loving it. Not to mention itās always a talking point. Folks I donāt know often ask āwhat color is that?ā Yellow, Orange, etc?
That makes since she only drives it about once a week. Itās been sitting for a while. I canāt tell her though. Sheās already looking for excuses to drive it more.
Well everything works as it supposed to this morning. Iāll just chalk this one up to a computer glitch.
it was really strange. Not only did the lights not work but the display didnāt come on and build the Bronco.
Wife went to open the door this morning. Puddle lights and the amber head lights came on for a second then shut off. Opened the door and no interior lights nor did the display screen come on. Window rolled down like it should. She started it up and drove to work. I havenāt actually looked into...
Well so much for having to go to the dealer to have this installed. Just checked and now Iām seeing all the additional warning messages (check brake, pre-collision). In addition I got a message about auto-trac when taking out of tow mode. Been towing this thing around for months and never seen...
Iāve been checking that screen pretty regularly but nothing shows up. Iāll check again today. I did get a ford pass notification several weeks back but not sure that did anything. Still have the original firmware version as when I got the vehicle.
Made an appointment with the dealership here in Stuart, FL. According to them this is a customer satisfaction issue and may or may not be covered. Letās just add some more frustration to an already frustrating issue. Ridiculousššš
At least I have t lost my mind. Searching all under the dash. Certainly not in any obvious location. Running a wire from the brake light is sounding Mitch easier at the moment.
Can anyone provide a schematic of the Broncos brake light switch wiring or the color code for the wires? Looking to install an led in the coach to indicate when the brake pedal is in use.
Correct, but Iād think youād want a diode to prevent power from the toed back feeding the RV. In this case youād need two per source ( ie two on the stop lights as well as two for the turn signal) ?
After seeing the comment regarding fast blinking lights I decided to dissect my Curt harness. Shouldnāt there be two diodes, one for each power source?
