I didn't/don't understand what the concern was. Why not just roll down it? Was the back going to drag or something else going to happen?
I don't have much off road experience, so the issue/concern isn't obvious to me.
Manual non sas, hand calc. The dash calc is always high and the higher it reads the farther off it is, but your 1.5 high is in the same range.
Do you use 6th? I read reports on here where people never use 6th. I use it all the time.
I also run the tires at close to 40 psi.
I think I get 17...
Yes it would be tough to go less than 75 on i-15.
My worst tank was 13.5 mpg, 80+mph across north Dakota in a headwind.
Best tank was 26mpg cruising around Yellowstone at 45mph
Overall I'm ok with the mpg, it's the only car I've owned where I'm averaging better that the sticker. On other...
No rodent signs.
I used to see a raccoon walk past my bronco every night. Haven't seen him in a while, but he always seemed a little sickly.
We used to have rats in the neighborhood, but there numbers seemed to decline when squirrels moved into the neighborhood. The both seem to live on...
I didn't know that. The first thing I noticed was the missing color matched metal piece. Another reason the 2 door is better ; ) kidding aside, I do like the color matched piece.
A lot of time and thought into how to stop people from doing the wrong thing....
Personally, consistently in response to my inputs stops me from using goat modes. I' ve driven enough 2wd cars with bad tires to know when to be easy on the throttle....
I agree, I have had this problem on all cars in heavy snow. The bronco does seem a little worse.
I usually end up opening the window and try to catch and thump the wiper to bounce off the ice. It typically happens coming down little cottonwood canyon in a storm after skiing, so speed is...
The bronco will automatically add throttle. Sit in your bronco and with your foot lightly on the brake let out the clutch slowly and watch the tack. The tack will go up without you touching the gas.
I really don't like it in stop and go situations. I'll be lugging along and the computer will...
I think it's the antistall function. We think we stalled because in an old school rig it would have stalled, but the anti stall kicks in at the same time we are pushing in the clutch so we think it restarted but it never really stalled.
Plus even within a category ie bourbon, whiskey, whisky etc there can be drastic differences.
I love some scotches and also find some scotch undrinkable..
I thought I had auto started in 4l too and didn't understand why it wasn't working when I was playing with 4l the other day.
So I looked at the manual... The manual told me when you put it in 4l it automatically turns off the ass.
I played around with the crank in gear the past days too. Pretty much the exact same experience as you on the first day. The second day I got more comfortable with it but even then wasn't sure I would ever actually use it.
What I thought was really terrible was you have to stall it to use it...
If you know where the gas station is... I was in the sanrafeal swell camping. Had used more gas then anticipated. Where I knew there was gas was going to add about 90 minutes to my drive home. Where I thought there was a station was essentially on the way home so that's the way I went. There...
I'm curious as to what rear wheel drive and front wheel drive cars you've driven where the rear wheel drive was better. My experience is the opposite, front wheel drive has almost always been better than rear wheel drive. Cars I've driven ranked from worst to best in snow
1970 Camaro,
1974...
