  1. 2024 Tacoma - Specs, Release, Photos ⚠️ Now With Hybrid 🔋

I could not agree more. Very underwhelming powertrain options. I can’t look past that to be bothered with anything else about these if Toyota is slapping a doggy four-cylinder on them, or band-aiding an electric motor hybrid system to boost the output of the higher trims. Hard pass.
  2. REMINDER: 2023 Bronco Order Banks Opens 3/27 for 24 hours Only. Base Model, Everglades, Manual Transmission Won't Be Available

Hard to believe you could order a Base 2.3 Manual 2-Door for $30k a couple years ago. Looks like the cheapest Bronco you could order this time around would come in at about $42k (2-Door Big Bend, only option being automatic transmission).
  3. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

Most, if not all of these have been mentioned, but here are mine in no particular order: Double honk. My phone connecting to Ford's bluetooth system, disconnecting, lagging for a bit, then eventually connecting to Apple CarPlay on every single start. Bonus annoyance points for the...
  4. 2.3L/2.7L Roush Intake & Axle-Back Exhaust Sound Clips/Dyno Pulls

Makes me question the power gains other manufacturers claim from what appear to be similarly designed axle back systems. Not surprised that the Roush intake adds very little power, it's basically a new airbox, not a full cold air intake system.
  5. Picking up my 23 HPR 2 door v6 obx lux

A man of culture. God, those things are ugly.
  6. Corsa or Fast Intentions Exhaust?

Fast Intentions sure promises a nice power and torque gain. Seems like a lot for an axle-back and no other modifications:
  7. Changing Black Diamond headlights?

Hey, at least you have Sport Mode. It is inexplicable to me how Ford left Sport mode off the Badlands but all the lower trims have it.
  8. Back order for 2.7 Ford Performance Tune

How does something like this ever get backordered? It’s a software program...
  9. Sasquatch - Will you upgrade the brakes?

Do you know if they will work with the 2.7L power brakes?
  10. The Brake Upgrade Thread

Which engine do you have? Pretty sure that kit only works with the 2.3 vacuum assisted brakes, not the 2.7’s power brakes. I don’t think there is a single direct upgrade brake kit for the 2.7, which kind of shocks me considering how many people are putting bigger wheels and tires on their...
  11. Welcome to the World of Injen!

Any updates that you can provide on the eta for the 2.7 intake, charge pipes, and intercooler? The website still says that these parts were expected in January.
  12. Would you rather Black Diamond (mid) vs Base with Sasquatch

Bingo. For those suggesting you can easily add bigger tires and aftermarket wheels to the non-Sasquatch Black Diamond later, you will still be stuck with 4.46 gearing instead of 4.7. Not the end of the world, but the Sasquatch will have slightly better performance on 35"+ tires. You will also...
  13. Would you rather Black Diamond (mid) vs Base with Sasquatch

It came down to these two builds for me as well (but the 4-door versions because I have kids). I ended up going with the Base Sasquatch over Black Diamond non-Sasquatch, and I am happy with my decision. For a similar price point, I get a far more capable off-roader and I assumed that it will...
  14. CNBC: Ford CEO Jim Farley’s frustration builds as he vows to transform the automaker

To be fair to Ford, I think they've done an overall excellent job with the Bronco. It is a fantastic beast. But the packaging and options don't quite make sense. Too many trim levels, too many features/options constrained to specific trims. For instance, why can you not get marine grade vinyl...
  15. CNBC: Ford CEO Jim Farley’s frustration builds as he vows to transform the automaker

    1) How difficult would it really be to build an online ordering system with fewer trim levels and more a la carte options? It could be very simply noted on that system when a part is constrained in some way and will delay build and delivery of the vehicle. Then at least the consumer is making a...
  16. CNBC: Ford CEO Jim Farley’s frustration builds as he vows to transform the automaker

I can forgive them supply chain issues and recalls with brand new models. The issues that Ford incomprehensibly refuses to fix and I cannot forgive are: (1) why is there not a clean and clear reservation model for vehicles where it is simply first come, first serve in terms of build order and...
  17. 6th gen 2024 Ranger Raptor rolling down the MAP line

I’m guessing it will be more in the 55-60k range. Cool as it is, 70k sticker for a Ranger would be ridiculous. The F150 Raptor starts around 75k. Now, I don’t doubt for one second that Ford’s scumbag dealer network will price gouge the hell out of these things and we won’t be able to find them...
  18. Are there any aftermarket brake kit options for the 2.7?

I was under the impression that the Alcon and Powerbrake kits were not compatible with the 2.7 electronic assist (power) brakes. Only the 2.3 vacuum assist.
  19. Are there any aftermarket brake kit options for the 2.7?

The stock brakes are fine, but if I am going to continue to add power, weight, etc., better brakes would be nice. Is there really nothing available?
