We also have both a 2021 4Runner (wife’s daily) and a 2-door Badlands w/Sasquatch, which is a 3rd vehicle.
I agree with the poster above in that they are very different vehicles. I wouldn’t want the Bronco for a family’s daily driver, but it is perfect to use as a toy to have fun with. Have...
Yes, I saw that. It’s definitely an option. I’m waiting to see what DV8 comes out with. It should be coming to market soon. I have the ADD rock crawler front bumper, so hoping it’ll look similar.
Plan to keep it indefinitely. In process of building it, and want to keep it as an off road toy for a long time. Have a pre-order in for the Fox coilover lift. Have RCV’s for the front axle waiting to put in with the lift. Have a front bumper and winch on it. Waiting for a rear bumper with...
I have a friend who currently works for a different automaker. He says they are bringing a lot of the manufacturing process and some of the parts they used to rely on from tier 1 suppliers, back in house. Said it is to improve quality and also to have more control over the supply chain and...
My daily driver is a 2019 F-150, we also have a 2-Door Badlands with Sasquatch, and I’m an avid biker. Imo, I would take the F150 in your situation. Much more comfortable, quieter ride and more versatile. Also, you can get a bed mount and put your bikes in the bed of your truck.
I’m waiting for a rear bumper with built in spare tire carrier. I hoping one is available when my Fox coilover lift and RCV’s come in so I can add 37’s.
I have very little to no blockage on the front camera. The winch and cover is “enlarged” in the camera view, and doesn’t look natural. However, my view isn’t blocked. If you want the contact info for the shop I ordered the cover through, I’d be more than happy to give it to you. Sounds like...
I have almost the same set up. Had it installed this past week. Went with the Warn Zeon 10-S winch and Warn solenoid relocation and ACC relocation. The shop had a local individual fabricate the “Bronco” cover to fill the void where the solenoid is on the winch. I think it turned out great and...
I have K02’s on my F150 in Michigan. They are a great all around tire. They handle the snow very well imo. Others speak high of the Ridge Grapplers. I put the Trail Grapplers on our Bronco and they are definitely much louder than the K02’s, which was expected.
How did you get the Fox coilover lift? I’ve called about every place I could find online that sells them, including Fox directly, and was told that nobody knows when they will be available. I put a pre-order in through our local 4x4 store with BDS.
