If you are still looking at options have you considered these? Super classic slot mag look that really fits the retro look of the Bronco. I have the 0 offset polished versions of these and I get compliments nearly every time I stop somewhere.
  3. Unknown Button

As I read more about it, it also apparently allows GPs tracking and remote immobilization. Likely they could use it to aid in repo activity if it came to that. If it were me, I would remove it out myself to make sure that the wiring wasn’t damaged either during installation or removal.
  4. Unknown Button

pic search on Google says its a KARR security system. added on by the dealer, typically along with an upcharge during purchase for a ā€œdealer installed accessoryā€ If you didn’t want it installed, I would ask the dealer to remove it. Or There are posts out there with info on how to remove it...
  5. 2023 Black Diamond Retro Build Transformation

Very nice! I also have the MT Canyons on my Bronco. If you wanted to minimize the additional poke, you might try to source a set of slightly wider Sasquatch fender flares to swap onto it. Mine came with the wider flares (Heritage squarish) and its a good match for the wider offset of the wheels.
  6. Brand new 2024 Heritage Limited 2 Door, Bad Alignment.

I didn’t have any alignment issues with my Bronco, but I did with a new Mazda we recently purchased. It was pulling slightly to one side, so we brought it to the dealer where we bought it. They found the alignment was a bit off from the factory and corrected it at no charge. That might be the...

  8. Cannot get this off. Any suggestions welcomed

I’ve had good luck with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser along with distilled water for crystal clear glass (similar to the 0000 steel wool, glass only) You can also try the Eraser with vinegar but I’d be cautious about leaving the vinegar without rinsing.
  9. HERITAGE EDITION Bronco Club

The tires currently fitted are true 35x12.50r17s which are slightly larger than the 315/70R17s that came stock. I am happy to report no rubbing after 6k miles and 9 months with the 0 offset wheels and 35s. I drive it daily and I’ve had it off road with flexed suspension. No issues whatsoever.
  10. How to prevent wife from smashing soft top?

2 Thoughts: 1.) Her Wildtrak comes with 35ish inch tires, maybe consider 32 or 33 inch for the next set 2.) Buy an old beat up 66-77 project Bronco, do all of the restoration work in the garage 🤣

  13. Bronco Stroppe Editions are in transit

I totally agree! The first mod I would do on the Stroppe Edition is the same mod I did on my Heritage. Kidney Bean Slot Mag wheels… In my opinion (and many others) they complete the look of the Stroppe Edition. Mickey Thompson’s Canyon Polished wheels would again be my preferred choice. I...
  14. Mickey Thompson Introduces Slot Mag Wheels!

The wheels have an inner bore of 108.1mm and the stock wheel bore/hub diameter is 93.1 mm so there is a difference when compared with the stock wheels. Mickey Thompson indicates that their wheels are compatible with a lug centric installation (the lug nut seats are tapered) so I chose to go...
  15. Mickey Thompson Introduces Slot Mag Wheels!

Good question! Yes, it fit without issue for the most part. I did just notice that the factory bumpers that support the bottom of the tire are now about 3/4 inch too short. I haven’t noted any rattling sounds, but in searching this forum, it looks like there are plenty of potential...

I understand the concern. For me it was perfect, I’ve always been a fan of a bit of outward offset on a 4x4. Reminds me of Old Green, my college-days daily driver on Dick Cepeks.
