I'm out. My dealer thought they were getting allocation and found out today that they are not. They offered 2023 so we'll see what happens. Not the end of the world. Gonna be a tough choice between a Bronco Raptor and the 800+ horsepower Rivian.
I was emailed this morning from my dealer, they said the order banks are open sometime this pm. So I'll find out tomorrow for sure if my MSRP deal is really happening. I think it is. I'll know for sure in 15-hours or so. Crossing my fingers but won't know for sure until I get that DORA.
I had a badly dented door removed and disassembled. A new one painted and reassembled and reinstalled for that price at Caliber in Parker 2 years ago. I claimed it on insurance and had been 10-years accident free so no impact on my premiums.
That little tiny easily-removable Bronco door...
Every 5th car in Boulder is literally a Subaru.
Probably a Mopar fan who hates Fords.
Back in 2015 I parked my 2014 Shelby GT500 over in RiNo in Denver and had some asshole put his cigarette out on my spoiler. Luckily I had just put a fresh coat of synthetic wax on and it just burned through...
Don't get insurance involved just yet. Get the estimate first. I'll bet the cost is less than your deductible and this will count against you for accident-free.
That sucks!
At least Broncos have easily removable doors. I had a door replaced and repainted on a Taurus for 1K at Caliber. I think your repair should be less than $500. It should be a fairly easy fix.
Code Orange
Forged BL wheels
Wheel Locks
Keyless Entry Pad
Lux package
Code Orange Seatbelts (2X what they should cost)
Sound deadening
2nd roof panel storage bag

I think the orange belts are a ripoff at $395 but they look so damn good and with Code Orange it should be...
They're probably going to try and leave more room between the Ranger and F150 Raptors power-wise. The Bronco is a different vehicle so I think it will be tuned to a higher power level. Ford has already said 400+. So the 420-430 horsepower guesses and 450-460 torque guesses are looking pretty...
The forged option is definitely the way to go. For the F150 Raptor it's part of the 37 package which is $4750. I'd imagine that since 37s are standard on the Bronco Raptor that the wheels will be a standalone option and will cost less.
There are two different types of allocations. The first type are the hand-raisers who were selected. I think Ford is waiting on final responses from all of those who were offered and tallying those up before finalizing numbers on the 2nd type of allocation which is how GT500s are currently...
Then why wouldn't you want to watch that episode?
Ford Foundation is a contributor to CR and the Foundation is wholly independent of Ford Motor Company. Ford and Lincoln have gotten blasted in CR in the past, they're not even great right now but way better than Jeep.
The GT500 just got a 4.2K price increase for 2022. So that puts it up around 80K with no options after gg tax. A Bronco Raptor will be fully loaded with options for that amount.
I hear you on the use part. I wouldn't drive my 2014 GT500 willingly in rain. Wouldn't drive in winter etc. It will...
I'm just spit-balling based upon what I've read in multiple publications and seen on YouTube videos from the unveiling. Everything being reported by the mags says most are going to Reservation holders.
Ford's in a tough spot of having heavy demand and limited production capacity and a...
