  1. 35’s on a non Sasquatch Bronco - ride quality and performance?

I have a non-sas Black Diamond with the 4.46 and 315/70/17 KO2's. I don't have a manual but do have a 2" RTR lift and installed the Ford Performance tune. I can get up and go, when I need to and the "feel" of the drive actually seems better, although my MPG has taken a hit. I had 33" KO2's and...
  2. My 'Un-wheelable' Bronco (35"s, 3.73's, no lockers)

I'm just here to welcome and support a fellow Mainer. Looks good, you like it, and it does what you need it to do, only a flatlander would shit on that checklist!
  3. Thoughts on color matched painted Braptor flares versus black flares...

Paint matched is the only way to go for me. Part of that might be the material they actually used. This is one man's personal opinion, the shape of the rear combined with the "flimsy" material that just looks not sturdy, makes the whole flare aesthetic seem like an afterthought.
  4. Wheel fitment and tire fitment

I have the exact same Pro Comp 17x9 and -6 wheels with 315/70r17 BFG's and I had to pull the crash bars. Non Sas Black Diamond with the RTR 2" lift, and I have zero rub issues. If you have mudflaps you might have some issues, but not trimming of anything.
  5. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

I live in Maine which has a lot of trucks, and a lot of them modified, I have never seen anyone actually pulled over exclusively for poke. However, I have absolutely know of people who were pulled over for other things, like speeding etc, and then also given a violation for poke, especially if...
  6. Why don’t people like the OEM tires/wheels?

On the 4 door ones specifically, anything that's not Sasquatch looks undersized to me, because it's so big and boxy. The factory offset on non sasquatch wheels also pulls the tire way in, and since the Bronco comes with the extended flares that most standard cars dont have, it looks like...
  7. What did your Bronco replace?

2006 Buick LaCrosse My grandmother custom ordered it brand new when she was 88 years old, paid for it in cash which none of us had any clue she had. She died at 99 in 2017 and left everything to my mother, and my parents already had a reliable car, so when my Pathfinder literally crapped out...
  8. 2024 Wheel Wishlist

I would love some mag slot style wheels!! I'd take them in a 0 offset myself!
  9. Capable to Modular Bumper Swap?

The earlier linked youtube vid addresses the plastic bumper, not the capable, which has different hooks and connects to the frame, not bolts. I had a BD with a capable bumper, bought a modular takeoff from a guy who put a custom one on with a winch. It's unbolting six bolts, uncliping the...
  10. Full color change: Tiffany paint on retro Bronco build by Doetsch Offroad

I love the color scheme, but for some reason the bright white draws my eye to the bumpers not extending out to the flare, I've somehow never noticed it on the versions if seen with the standard black ADD bumpers and black OEM Sas flares I know manufacturing them would be a pain to make a whole...
  11. KC HiLITES Gravity Pro6 [install & test video]

It's definitely a look. I love them, my soft top does flap like crazy above about 45 mph though. Also, did you silicone up the hole he drilled above the windsheild? It WILL leak if not. The good news if he didn't is that you can take them off and unscrew the mount without adjusting a single...
  12. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

Right, but…. why? I understand some modes reverting, like 4L or any of the mud/ruts/slippery ones. Any of the 3 “standard driving” ones, normal, eco, or sport should retain. Every other car I’ve ever had stays where you leave it
  13. What’s your most annoying feature on the Bronco?

It not retaining the last mode I was driving in. I got the Ford Performance tune and it just drives better and gets better mileage in Sport mode. Why for the love of God do I have to turn it back to that or press "keep in Sport Mode?" every time I get in the car? It clearly remembers thats where...
  14. Seasons Greetings from Rockland, Maine.

God bless the trap tree, bub!
  15. Toyo 35x11.5 on Non Sas -Offset

I've looked at the Kenda's, they're just so damn heavy. I think I'm pretty much to the point of running 285/75's and gaining about an inch in diameter or going with some coilovers and going as small as possible to fit a standard 35" to keep the C load rating and the weight down.
  16. Toyo 35x11.5 on Non Sas -Offset

Is there anyone running the 35” Toyo Open Country at3’s in 11.5 instead of 12.5 on a non Sasquatch with no lift and 0 or negative offset wheels? I know that is a wildly specific set of parameters 😂😂 I currently have BFG KO2’s in 285/70’s on ProComp 69’s with the -6 on a non Sas Black Diamond...
  17. Put 20s on my Wildtrak - Now Roast Me

I've got nothing against the size, you set it up for how you plan to use it. The only thing I will roast you about is the all black on black wheels and tires. Call be a boomer, but this is what my brain sees anytime people go with black on black.
  18. Two different styles for Pro Comp 69?

I have a set of these, pretty sure I posted in that thread earlier. And yes, it's the offset that is making them look different. Pro Comp basically increases the offset as the wheel size goes down. 17-20" wheels hover in the -6 to 0 to +12 range. Anything under 17" starts to get real deep, with...
  19. Time to upgrade my wheels and tires

I'd go with a 17" wheel, it opens up a lot more options for you. Tire options open up for you too. I have 17" Baja style wheels with a 285/70/17 (which is like 32.5") tire, no lift. I've got zero rubbing, and they look like the right size (maybe a hair small for my preference, but they don't...
