Paint matched is the only way to go for me. Part of that might be the material they actually used. This is one man's personal opinion, the shape of the rear combined with the "flimsy" material that just looks not sturdy, makes the whole flare aesthetic seem like an afterthought.

I have the exact same Pro Comp 17x9 and -6 wheels with 315/70r17 BFG's and I had to pull the crash bars. Non Sas Black Diamond with the RTR 2" lift, and I have zero rub issues. If you have mudflaps you might have some issues, but not trimming of anything.

I've got nothing against the size, you set it up for how you plan to use it. The only thing I will roast you about is the all black on black wheels and tires. Call be a boomer, but this is what my brain sees anytime people go with black on black.
