Right. I swear every time I bring it in I get emails from their used car department wanting to appraise and make me an offer. When I reply with "it's still in the bay, walk over and look at it" they go silent.
I'm old enough and partially disabled...not wanting to be under the Bronco in Houston's weather is enough of a reason for me to pay someone. Add in that it's all documented in the vehicle history I have proof if anything ever goes wrong.
Hayne's and Chilton manuals were great on used cars before the internet, and NAPA almost always had what you needed. Anymore...well, as long as you've got an internet connection you've got more information at hand if you can sift through it.
I feel your pain...my first crack I was driving down the interestate with nobody within a few hundred yards...the back windows were off because I'd had the top down earlier and I hear "snap"...a few seconds later sure enough a crack starting from the top. Houston heat and a few months later it's...
my wife ordered some off of Amazon and they're all cheap chinese trash. I said "while I appreciate the gift, please send it back, I will never put this on my Bronco".
had mine right at about 2 years.
While I enjoy the quick flip to position 1, I hardly ever take the windows off and go all the way down.
It gets very noisy on highways at high speed, and of course long road trips make it worse. My wife complains to me constantly about how she can't hear, and...
not just you, I'm not in the ADV camp, but it's just mind blowing that it's gone on this long. (of course I'm not doing much better with Anderson right now...)
No. They won’t offer a discount. I had to replace my homes AC and roof within 6 months of each other. Between the cost of the AC and deductible on the roof I’m tapped. I don’t have anything left right now. I’m stuck at their mercy and they keep dicking me around.
Sadly, black doesn’t fit with what I want or my vision for my Bronco. And after replacing my homes AC and roof within 6 months of each other I’m tapped on finances. I can’t take a primered one and go somewhere to have them paint it (I’d also worry that they wouldn’t be able to paint it properly...
so "first week of March" came and went...they received their tops and "began testing and inspecting" and of course more delays stating "end of the month" for an update, but the update could be they'll ship or back to the drawing board....meanwhile I'm now over 10 months since order on an item I...
There's a meme that talks about guys and their power tool brand....but yeah, pick one and run with it. Dewalt, Milwaukee, etc all good and all last. Home Depot and Lowes both have their "store" brand. But you can find most brands at any of the big box stores.
(I'm a DeWalt guy myself).
