Installed a bit of chip protection this morning. Came together pretty good besides snapping one of the studs on OEM Rock Rails. No big deal will be replacing them with frame mounted ones after new rubber and lift go on anyways.

I have a 2.7 motor that failed, scuffed two cylinders and ruined one turbo. I currently have a 2.3 and wondering if its worth putting some work into and trying to build something out of it. Not sure if you can bore out, or add larger turbos etc. i am more used to building Japanese sport bike...

Anyone get this solved? Happened to my wife twice now in a month

Ive had both for work vehicles. Reliability of 5.0 is far superior to the 2.7 from my experience. 2.7s wont handle the abuse.

Would love this but definitely going to be way way out of my price range

i’ve run primarily 91 my wife has put regular in it and i noticed performance difference but was no better in fuel economy.

So if I use my OEM Upgrade Option Black Diamond rims, and putting 35s on with my lift. Do I need wheel spacers?

Cant wait to install this. Cant really tell what needs to be dremelled, But I am sure it will be easier to tell once unit is removed

thanks. looks like i’ll stick with the 17s. Was thinking about buying a set of 15s when i upgrade tires. I like the look of a truck with a lot of side wall.

I assume 16" would fit my black diamond but does anyone know if 15s fit as well?
