I'm beginning to think Ford shouldn't have tried to reinvent the wheel. My wife's Rubicon has a hard and soft top that are flawless and perfect. Ford needs to suck it up and copy both.
Nothing rubs at full left/right steering lock. A little loss in power and fuel economy, +/- 2 mpg. Ride is still very good but a little more harsh over potholes. Much happier with appearance and stance.
A good option is to buy a different vehicle and forget about the Bronco and any Ford branded product again. Then write a letter to Ford explaining the specific situation. Buy a Jeep. As an owner of both a Wrangler and a Bronco, neither is worth $15k over sticker. Frankly, neither is worth...
I have both a 2019 Rubicon and a 22 Outer Banks. Both are great and would be a tough choice to pick a clear winner. The Bronco drives better and is for now, unique. The Jeep has a slightly better interior, a far better hardtop and a much better optional stereo.
