The point of the video was to determine if he regrets spending $35k on a Wrangler, not would he rather drive a $65k Bronco than a $35k Wrangler. That Bronco vs that Wrangler, the Bronco is better for overall use.
Now considering the cost and having to use his own money, he'd rather spend...
At least you were back near civilization. Between the dealers on Alpine and Plainfield, you weren't too far to get towed to one of those. Hopefully home wasn't far either.
You may not be familiar with Silver Lake, and that is okay. Any given day in the summer there are hundreds, if not more, vehicles out there. Jeeps, Broncos, Raptors, other pickups, SUVs, dune buggies, sand rails, ATVs, SXSs, dirt bikes, sedans (yes I see a passenger car about every time I'm...
Personally, I think the Wrangler's sound bar blocking the rear passengers is being overblown. Maybe everyone else drives (or plans to drive) around with more than 1 passenger and with the top down A LOT more than I do or even see on and off road. As the driver, if I'm looking at the road or...
Not yet. I wish there was some place in SE Michigan I could go and see a Sasquatch and non-Sasquatch version of a vehicle. I'm really trying to figure out if a 32" tire is going to look undersized and I'd rather not spend the xtra $ on Sasquatch unless it looks bad with smaller tires. I'm pretty...
I thinking (hoping really) that there is a mistake that relates to the twill front row only for hardtop. There are two listed for the 4 door and I think 1 may be for the 2 door. There is one listed in vinyl for both the 2 door and 4 door.
I used the Excel version and filtered to descriptions...
The hard vs soft tops might not be a huge difference to each other but the soft top will be louder than “normal” passenger vehicles with solid roofs. I’m sure you could Google cabin noise of a Wrangler (or any other convertible) vs noise say in a Cherokee, Ranger or F150.
I’ve gotten used to it...
Someone already caught it that it was two different Broncos. The things that had me looking closely were the video was take on southbound Haggerty Rd approaching Ford Rd in Canton, MI. The picture was from the highway, which may have been 275 but the video of the Bronco was not going towards...
Two months later and a couple of inquiries to Mike Levine (tweets) and it is still crickets on the availability of this top for the 2 door. Not to sound cliche, but this is a game changer and a MUST HAVE option for me. I'd be willing to bet anyone that has one on their Wrangler wouldn't give it...
I'm waiting. I'm driving a '16 JKU with a little over 50,000 miles and no payments. I'm not in a hurry to spend money. With no Cold Weather Pkg available for BD that includes heated steering wheel, no stand alone option for the B&O sound system and no confirmation of the sunrider for hardtop...
This is exactly how I feel. I do have some gripes about what I can and cannot add to a Wrangler, but nothing like this. The Alpine vs B&O radio, Cold Weather Pkg (Heated Steering Wheel). It's one thing to be be disappointed I can't put a steel bumper on a Willys from the factory vs having to put...
I know it hasn't been an option, yet. With everything else that is broken with B&P I'm holding out hope that it will be an option when ordering actually starts. Just as we're seeing with the AT, nothing is set in stone.
Edit - I'd also like to find out if the sunrider for the hard top is only...
Waiting to confirm B&O is not available on Black Diamond before cancelling my reservation. Very frustrated with Ford the past few months and it keeps getting worse.
If I do cancel, I probably won't buy anything for another year or two. My '16 JKU is recently over 50,000 miles and runs great.
@7spd4me My wife and I are building a house off Wixom Rd between 11 Mile and Grand River and I was out there Sunday to see the progress. Would have been great to stumble across this while I was out and about. Thanks for posting.
There have been some quirks with Ford that may get me to buy another Wrangler. A few months back I was sure I was getting the Bronco but right now I think it is a coin toss, maybe leaning towards the Jeep. Things that are sticking points include:
Heated Steering Wheel - Only on high trims with...
