I did a 3000 mile up the west coast across to yosemite and back through nevada.
lots of roof wind noise. Constant “sta bar disconnect service required “ warnings, lots of creeks & rattles. MPG drops off going over 75. Annoyed by the manual adjustment seats, no lumbar support on the passenger...
re-occuring problem with the stability bar disconnect sensors, 5x I've had it in the dealer now, `sta bar disconnect service required` every few weeks it will do it EVERY TIME I accelerate from stop.. I went through stop and go traffic getting to the airport and holy hell I was ready to rip the...
~15,000 just happened last weekend, due to take it in for the windsheild glue recall next week so just paying them to put in new glass, all the labor will be covered so at least that's a win.
Took it in, they said something to the effect of some pressure reading was mis-calibrated and had to be corrected in software, no mechanical issues, fixed for free in about 40 min wait.

2) the roof noise at highway speeds. hard top, no...

If you want to go roof off, or hose out the interior (as intended for several of the trim packages) that wood is gonna get wet.
HDPE or some other plastic could be a great alternative. HDPE is a bit heavier for the thickness, but I think you could get away with thinner material and taller...
