I just had this issue over the weekend while traveling. I pulled over and pulled the battery cables off waited five minutes and reconnected. The error remained- so I continued my trip, three miles down the road it went off and hasn't occurred since. that was 300 miles ago.
I experienced these same faults a few months back, discovered a wire loosely connected on the inside of the rear hub assembly. (Was doing some high speed off-roading prior to the faults) Simply unplugged it and plugged it back in and everything went back to normal. No further issues since.
I get #1 anytime I turn off my Bronco in any mode but normal. I also got a variety of errors when not wearing seatbelt. Haven't experienced #2 issue, and I daily drove with top and doors off for two months.

I have been a Jeep owner since 2011. That being said - my Unlimited JK hardtop spends 6 months out of the year doorless and topless. On and off road, 60 mile + trips, you name it.
The weather finally permitted me to drop the top and pull the doors off my 4 door Badlands this last weekend...
TBH, I have been a jeep owner for 11+ years and an avid offroader for 40+ years- and after driving both on and Offroad extensively - I would choose Bronco 100%. Don't get me wrong, the Wrangler is a superior off road machine, but the Bronco (Badlands) out performs it on all levels. Put it on...
