Haven’t posted in our build week for a while now, but just an update: I had the Bronco for about 1.5 weeks, and sold it. For some reason, once I had it and had time to let the hype wear off, it wasn’t my perfect vehicle. Its tough because there isn’t really any “faults” that the Bronco had that...
Thanks!! I actually brought it in today and they didnt take me seriously. Im a female in my early 20s and deal with that often. They probably think since I don’t know much about cars, that I don’t know what im hearing. Frustrating.
I am having this weird “quacking” noise coming from whatever part this is in the pic below… (forgive me, I know next to nothing about this stuff).
Any idea at all what this could be? I have the 2.7.
Side note: I am also having a “whining” noise that you can hear while idling, and driving at low...
Im glad you are enjoying your ride!! Im hoping some hacks will remedy my noise issue. I also spoke to my dealer about it and they want me to bring it in Monday morning so they can give it a look. Seals look pretty good from what I can tell but we will see!
Are there any options with ford to deal with this or do customers have to go out on their own and remedy it?
Not totally sure- im going to check with my dealer
Yes we are in the same build week I believe… The hard top noise was the only thing I was concerned about when waiting for it, and mine is REALLY loud. Like, it hurts my ears loud.
Yes, I see so many opposing opinions on the wind noise! It cant be solely an opinion thing because it really is obvious- its got to be the actual tops.
Have been driving mine for about 2 days, and I have to point out my one gripe. The MIC top is LOUD on the hwy. I always see people with very opposite opinions on the wind noise here, and hoped that the “its pretty quiet” comments were right. I will be attempting some diy’s for the wind noise...
Picked mine up 2 days ago and love everything about it EXCEPT the wind noise. I have the MIC top and man it is loud in the highway. Almost enough to give you a headache after a 20 min drive. Going to try a diy for some additional sound deadening I saw on here. Im determined to improve it because...
Picked it up yesterday, took the side steps off, switched to a stubby antenna, and did the license plate relocation (dang virginia). Waiting on wheels, tires, leveling kit
Bronco sport would be an excellent choice to be honest. That’s probably not what you want to hear though since it seems you are more into the looks of an off roader
