Hi fellow 4/4ers! I took a Saturday afternoon and swapped the factory hard top for the Bestop soft top, looking forward to the warmer months ahead. Hope everyone is enjoying their pony! :cool:

I really didn't like it at first. I thought it was ugly and waste of extra cargo space. I do have to say it has grown on my a lot. It reminds me of the older gen models with the slantback of those hard tops. They really have the perfect angle to compliment the body. You won't regret it.

Last weekend I actually swapped out my factory (4 door) hard top for the Bestop Trektop for the upcoming warmer weather (I live in NJ). Removing the roof racks and hard top was easy as I have done that many times. I ended up buying some moving blankets and plastic wrap to seal up the hard top...

I am located in NJ and looking to purchase a 4 door OEM soft top with all hardware. I currently have a hard top and looking to swap the soft top in for the warmer months. Open to shipping local pickup.

Exactly what I said. They said it was from an impact, which absolutely never happened. Wouldn't the glass have cracked/shattered on impact first?

I sent mine into the dealer to review my cracking hardtop. It was denied because it was "from an outside source." Makes zero sense.

I don't but after taking the doors off for the first time, I can totally see how the bags make the process a lot easier. It makes a strong case to buy them using my FordPass points.

It wasn't too bad taking them off but it took some tinkering and choice words to put them back on 😅
