You’re good with 275/70/18 on the OBX wheels with no lift and crash bars in tact. I went with BFG KO2s. Had it done last week before I took delivery. What a difference compared to the stock tires.
I went with BFG KO2 275/70r18 on my OBX stock wheels. Had them installed at the dealer prior to picking it up. They kept the tire pressure sensors, balanced, aligned, and recalibrated the speedometer. 33s instead of the stock 32s. No lift and crash bars in place. Rides great and I think...
Thank you Ford! Third Bronco in my family, the other two were my Dad’s 1972 and 1974. We all wish he still had them! He’s 84 and is waiting on his 2 door Big Bend!
Yes. OBX stock tires didn’t work for me. Went with BFG KO2 275/70r18. 33s rather than the stock 32s. Lift not necessary. Had the tires changed keeping the tire pressure sensors, balance, re-alignment, and speedometer recalibrated prior to picking it up.
I ordered a Bronco for several reasons, one was nostalgic. My dad had a 1972 and a 1974, and we loved them. I was a kid, and remember having to fold the passenger seat to climb in the back, kind of a pain multiple times per day. I therefore ordered a 4 door. More practical and I do like the...
My blend was 3/22 and orig ETA of 4/6 - 4/12. The info I posted earlier is from both Ford chat and my dealer at Lief Johnson Ford. Hopefully the UP train picks them up soon and brings them home to Texas.
My OBX that is headed to Austin went by CSX rail to Gateway Yard, IL, which is in E St. Louis, and has now been stuck there for over a week, apparently waiting on a Union Pacific train to take it to Texas. They changed ETA window to 4/15 - 4/21. Fingers crossed.
