That's the thing. It's not putting any more air into the system. The system is designed to allow a certain volume of air at the inlet to the turbo. You're not providing any more volume because it is atmospheric and it gets heated the instant it enters the turbo. The ONLY thing it may be...
Perhaps you should do some research yourself and learn how turbo motors work. The short answer is they do nothing to increase performance but they do make cool sucking noises.
Yes indeed that is the issue. I have 50% on the windshield and limo on the roll ups. I was just hoping there was a Forscan setting change that would allow the DRL's to be on all the time when the headlights were off. Oh well.
I have a 23 and due to the very dark window tint on the sides and windshield my DRL's won't stay on. The DRL's being tied to the ambient light sensor cause my headlights to turn on in the daylight because the tint makes the car think its much darker outside. I did a search and I can't find out...
I opted for the non tie down versions. My OCD would not allow me to have all those tie downs not lining up and also I can zip these guys out with my cordless ratchet if I'm in a hurry!
Ok, since you're obviously as dense as the coldest air, I'll make it simple for you. Adding atmospheric air into a turbo motor intake mixes with very hot charged air and therefore does NOT reduce the temperature enough to make anything but the slightest imperceptible difference in temperature...
I've always bought stubbies from Cravenspeed. Their quality is top notch and they are all a direct fit with no adapters. Just keep in mind that if you use AM/FM at all then you're not going to be happy with the reduced reception.
Well if you have no practical knowledge of how engines are designed then I guess reading a fancy chart that a company made to increase their sales would be able to convince you.
Perhaps you might do a little research and educate yourself on how turbo motors work.
If I had a dollar for every time I've had to say this...
CAI's are WORTHLESS on turbo motors! You're wasting money for a net zero performance improvement.
