  1. Homemade Diff Drop for 6G Bronco

I'm in for a kit or at the very least maybe the measurements to try and "Cardboard Aided Design" my own set of brackets.
  2. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

It could, but it would take some modifying. You would have to gut the harness of the switch and relay they provide. Then you would hook the ground up like they instruct and take the wire coming out of the relay that goes to the axle and hook it to your up fitter switch wiring. OR you could just...
  3. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

They do come bound as a set of two bolts. I can't recall how many I purchased, but if you crawl under and count the bolts and divide by two, you should be good to go. Also if you do the front put together a good write up! I want to get around to doing mine when the money allows.
  4. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

It's sitting in my garage waiting for someone to want to buy it. I thought maybe someone with a automatic bronco would want it for a better ratio for larger tires, but so far no takers.
  5. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

I was hoping to find one in a junkyard and searched the country for one with no luck. Love you videos by the way! I think I watched them all a few times when I was waiting for my Base Bronco to be delivered.
  6. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

You can use this chart to see which axle you have and try to find a locker of the same ratio. If there isn't one available in you gearing you would also have to redo the front axle to match the rear. Side note about this chart that has been floating around in quite a few spots, it is...
  7. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

I ended up running the positive and ground wire all the way from the engine bay down the frame to the rear axle following the existing harness the best I could. Being a two door I would guess I used 20 feet of wire plus or minus some. I installed a grommet to protect the wire coming through...
  8. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

It has seen about three hundred miles so far and a day of trail use including a deep creek crossing without any issues. With Ford setting them up at the factory, hopefully there won't be any issues in the future lol.
  9. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

Yep! The E-locker was something I wanted since I saw my sisters F150 with a factory locker. If Ford would have let you order it on any package/config of Bronco like they did the F150 I would have got it at the factory.
  10. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

4.70 crossed my mind, but isn't much more over the 4.46 that my manual trans comes with. Plus I would have had to do both the front and rear at the same time and simply don't make the type of money to be able to do that sadly.
  11. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

I stayed with the stock 4.46 ratio for the time being. My Bronco is a daily driver and sees light to moderate trail use. I'll probably never go larger than 35" tires, so I couldn't convince myself to go with a different ratio. I want to do a front locker eventually but that will also mean an...
  12. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

I probably have about $2,400 into it. I found a good coupon for the Ford Accessories website and had a few Ford Pass points to spend. I looked into Air lockers, but by the time you buy a compressor, the carrier itself, new gears (again curse the stupid welded ring gear) and a setup kit. the...
  13. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

Yep! and that was a big factor for me. It came ready to go and even had some fluid in it so it appears Ford sets them up and tests them before shipping.
  14. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

Mine will probably stay 12v unless I start to have issues. It would be a fun project to try and mimic the factory ECU though...
  15. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

I've got nothing against air, but by the time I had all the parts needed to go air it came out to about the same price as the route I took. The welded ring gear was a big decision factor for me. The last diff I set up took me five attempts to get everything right. I really did not want to go...
  16. ELD Swap: My Journey to E-Locker Heaven -- Installation on Base Bronco (DIY + Photos)

So if you are like me, you ordered your Bronco during the time when adding "Sasquatch Package" was a major constraint and you were forced to decide if you wanted to wait for a 2027 model or to go with out it. I looked at what SAS gave you over Non-SAS, and figured that I would be replacing just...
  17. Missouri Sold: Five OBX Wheels and Tires $400

Five OBX take-offs. 5k Miles on them. They don't have TPMS Sensors in them but I might have a set that can go with them if needed. Prefer to not ship them as the UPS store already hates me for shipping a different set of tires....
  18. Missouri Sold: 4.46 Rear Axle

4.46 ratio rear, open diff axle. Pulled out as I upgraded to the a rear locker. Axle has 5k on it. I'm located in southwest MO but I'm willing to drive a bit if need be. Would be good for an auto guy to upgrade to a better gear ratio for larger tires. Price: $1,000 $500 OBO
  19. [StickerFab] V4 Factory Auxiliary Switch Re-design

Definitely need the front and rear locker labels! Just put mine in last week and really want to have the switches labelled!
