If you're just having to pull the headrest (and not the rods), take a look at my previous post from August 4. It's not difficult once you know what you're looking for. Not hard, but not "quick release" either.
Thanks. They were from Underground Graphics. I picked a color that wasn't one of their standard options and they made them just for me in no time. Customer service was great and there's a good video showing you how to install them.
Please no judging my garage.
We were up near Dial and Aska. Not sure if you ever got to run Rich Mtn up there, but it was perfect. FS closed it years ago. Did it in my pristine 77 that would be worth as much as a house if I still had it.
I wish I could give an honest assessment, but so far all it's seen are a few puny mudholes and some mildly rocky FS roads. Not a lot of options here in N Ga. Feels good on the highway and looks good when I drive over the curb at the mall though:).
Can I join this Basesquatch PRP club? That orange is awesome. I'm jealous. Did you struggle like I did with how to do the rear headrest? Other than that little hiccup, I'm very pleased.
I did PRP in my Bronco and Katskins tuscan in the F150. The Katskins are awesome but pricey and not something I wanted to subject to rain and mud. The PRPs turned out great and much less than the leather...about $1000 front and back and I was able to install them myself. They have a great...
Nylon washers a little thicker than the ones they came with did the trick for me. 63 cents at Home Depot. (Apparently I have the same OCD...which you would never guess by looking at that disaster of a garage in the background and the 16 different shades of blue on my Bronco.)
