Thank you so much for posting this. We were literally stuck and trying to get it it out of neutral tow for 20 min. when all we had to do was shift it into PARK!
@Bronco4 that’s fair. I got my base plates installed and that was a fun time (not really).
Here is what I will say about the base plates that are different, at least, from the factory installed D-rings on the capable bumper.
Positives
- Overall the quality of welds seem much better on the blue...
I wanted to mention something i didn't really see talked about before as most people have the mod/standard bumper.
I ordered the blue ox base plates for the capable bumper (w/ d-rings) and it definitely wasn't cheap by any means. I later came to see someone in this thread use the Ford Tow...
I get to pick up my car today!
im actually blown away how fast it arrived. It was in the Chicago railyard on the 29th and then bam it was in the San Antonio rail yard, on the convoy and then at the dealer. My birthday was on the 4th so it’s the perfect birthday present.
Got a shipped email on Monday morning!! I got the rail car number and called the csx automated tracker. ETA to Gibson Indiana is on April 25th. Then I’m assuming it will hop on over to St. Louis where is will change to Union Pacific rail. I’m just so excited to finally be at this part of the...
I had a deal with my wife that we would get the bronco before summer ends. When we got our initial build date that was Feb 14th and have been officially built as of 3/24 I thought HA! I’m gonna win this bet easy. Now with all the shipping delays and still sitting at MAP, I’m looking like a...
Finally got a built email on Friday ! Or rather my dealer forwarded me the email because they put my email done wrong on the build. 3/7 blend date and 3/24 built date. Now onto waiting for shipping.
Hey, at least it’s shipped. I don’t even wanna think about how long it’s gonna take to get mine in Texas when I haven’t even finished “in production” since 3/7.
I'm in the San Antonio area, specifically Kerrville, and I have not heard anything. Still 'In Production' on the pizza tracker. Blend date was 3/7/2022. Dealer has no information other than it shows up as "produced" with an ETA ending 3/31/2022.
Im also, blend 3/7, "in production", and delivery in Texas. I was creeping on the 3/14 form and we have Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio builds being shipped.
