@Mike E Thanks! I actually just got notified of my shipping date earlier today, and sounds like I’ll be picking it up in about 6 weeks. I’m just excited to get back to wheeling.

@Coloradonatives hahaha, fair. There are a lot of them. It will be a sting gray soft top 4 door, that’s something at least. More importantly, a month after placing the deposit I have a scheduled shipping date, so I will actually get it in time for summer.

I totally lost hope. 7/15 res in the same situation. At a year after the deposit I put a deposit down on another vehicle, had the vin for that one in 3 days, so I have since canceled the Bronco.

@Mike E yeah, on the test drive it was definitely a lot closer to the Bronco than this forum would like to admit haha. I’m honestly just excited to get back to wheeling, my f-150 is too big for most of it, so I haven’t gotten to wheel much since my last Bronco.

@kbutler1 I reserved July 15th, 2020, and put the deposit down on the Bronco on January 26th 2021. I gave it one year to get scheduled, or at least an estimate (like Ford had promised back in May 21) so when I still didn’t have even a guarantee of getting a 22, I placed an order for the Rubicon.

Very accurate. Granger’s behavior and honesty though is why I chose to order from them when it was time for me to order a Jeep and give up on the Bronco.

Yup, this is freaking ridiculous. I went into this process with so much enthusiasm and good will towards Ford, especially given the sentimental value I had in the Bronco nameplate. Somehow, Ford has managed to burn down all that good will and enthusiasm. Even if my Bronco gets delivered...

I didn’t ask for one, but this also isn’t the first vehicle I’ve bought through them, and I’ve always gotten a fair price with no funny business, so when they said MSRP I didn’t doubt it.

I ordered with Freeway as well. The new vehicle sales manager told me that they don’t know anything, can’t do anything, and that the scheduling is a lottery. Then he admitted that walk in orders have gotten build dates within 2 weeks.

My dealer confirmed that I was not scheduled. Looks like I’m ordering a JLU Rubicon. If Ford isn’t able to fulfill my original order within a year (which is next Wednesday), while they are scheduling walk in orders in front of me, then Ford is not a company I want to do business with.

All badlands have the advanced 4x4, it’s how the badlands gets the advertised crawl ratio. That’s how it looks until it is scheduled. The 2 doesn’t turn green until after scheduled and vin assignment.

If you haven’t gotten a build date yet it won’t give you an idea. For most of us it is still in the ordering phase on the backdoor link.
