Is a front swaybar disconnect really necessary for an overland Bronco build? I am debating whether or not to get a BadSquatch or save money and get a BaseSquatch instead.
When I built a fully loaded Badlands Sasquatch Four-Door on the Build and Price, the total was a mind-boggling $64,847. $65K for a FORD?!!!??!?!?!?!?!??!?!
This is my build.
Four Door Badlands - $44590
Destination Charge - $1495
Standard Package - $0
Sasquatch - $2500
2.3 EcoBoost with Auto Tranmission - $1600
Grey Hardtop - $700
Total: $50885
I would love your feedback regarding my potential 4dr Badlands Sasquatch configuration. My desires are:
Keep price down...
Only adding Automatic and Mid Package. Of course, based on leaked, rumored and speculated pricing. This sheet takes each 2 door and 4 door, upgrades the 2.3 engine to Automatic, adds lowest priced hardtop and adds the Mid Package. Gives that total, then adds Sasquatch.
I drove a 2019 Ranger...
I feel that a Badlands-Sasquatch (Four-Door) without any added tech options from the mid, high, and lux packages is the best combination when it comes to long term reliability, durability, and dependability for an off-road rig.
I feel that if you add tech from the mid, high, and lux packages...
Will the Bronco have a dual top option where you can convert a hard top into a soft top and the other way around, similar to what is found on the Wrangler?
Who here will plan to install an aftermarket transmission cooler on their future Bronco? Or will the Bronco come with one? What are your thoughts on this?
While I was looking at the Compare Models Webpage for the Big Bronco, I see that there are Bronco Sports shown instead. What could this mean?
This is the link to it so that you can see it yourself: https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/compare-models/
I saw that the 2.3 EcoBoost has Gasoline Direct Injection, instead of a combination of port and GDI. The 2.3 is the engine that I plan to get on the Bronco.
With that said, how do you clean the carbon buildup on the valves on a 2.3? Do you put higher octane gas?

So this is posted on the Ford website now for the Bronco. This seems to answer a few questions I’ve seen in here somewhere.
“Deliveries are targeted to begin in June 2021.” [originally April]
“Deliveries may extend in to the 2022 calendar year.” Oh boy........
Who here will wait until 2022...
How come Toyota is behind when it comes to their powertrains and transmissions for their 4runner?
The platform has not been changed since 2010. On paper, the 4runner may lag behind in both power and fuel economy. Even the base 2.3 EcoBoost on the Bronco has better power outputs and potentially...
The Sasquatch package comes with 35 inch tires which are mud terrain. However, isn't an identical sized all terrain tire better in the snow?
Who here will get the Sasquatch package and swap the given mud terrains for 35 inch all terrain tires for snow/overall performance?
I just put in the reservation for a Badlands trim four-door.
My concern is will the 2.3 EcoBoost be enough to turn the 35 inch tires from the Sasquatch package? I am leaning towards the 2.3 for fuel economy and cost savings.
I am leaving this article here.

I am so hyped about the Ford Bronco. I am looking at the Badlands Trim. However, I am also looking at the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon as well.
My question to you is, which will provide better capability and overall fun? Thanks!
