    Actually, Ford won just a few years ago when they brought back the Ford GT. They helped Chip Ganassi for a couple years then pulled the factory backed sponsorship. It might have been longer than a few years. Can't remember the year they redid the Ford GT.

    I was scheduled for the week of 05/02 and check it daily to see if I get bumped. Checked last night and now it is showing build week of 04/25. Doesn't make any sense.

    Yes, I believe the allocation is part of it but I was first in their allocations but who knows now.

    Nascar runs some sort of I think Teflon Windshields (Not sure that is the actual material but it isn't a glass like in normal vehicle). The muli-layer film you are talking about are just tear offs to clean the windshield. Has nothing to do with strenth. Just to clean the windshield of any type...

    This is the video I was talking about earlier. At the 10 sec mark when the semi gets hit and looks like it is about to tip, you see a girl get out and start running. She is from my town. Only like 25 or something but very lucky.
