My guess is they held off the numbers on the Bronco since the reveal for both of these were so close together?
An article from The Drive says itās riding on 33in KO2s. Donāt know if thatās the only option.

Looks like the Ranger Raptor will share the same engine as the Bronco Raptor.
Specs for the Rangerās engine:
392 hp/ 430 lb-ft torque.
These numbers line up well with Fordās comments...
My thought was I wouldnāt have to cut into the dash, since every Bronco has a spot for hero switches already there. Just not the same amount of buttons. In theory, you could swap a switch pack from a Badlands into a Base. The only mystery then to me would be the wire hookups.
So Iāve been toying around with buying a Base model and adding mods later(such as a rear locker, front facing camera, possibly an onboard air compressor). Instead of ordering one with the auxiliary switches, I had the idea of forgoing them and seeing if itās possible to adding buttons to the...
@Syphon Would it be possible to get a full picture of the spare and backside of your Bronco? Might help to see if they're are any bumps or dents anywhere else.
I have the same thing happen in my 2015 Fusion. Only occurs after starting the vehicle then throwing it in reverse before the startup screen can catch up.
Kind of begs the question why Ford decided to put it in such an awkward spot. To me it wouldāve made more sense to put it on the tailgate door or where the door latches on the driver side. Who knows, maybe theyāll revise that in newer models.
A couple observations/thoughts I take from this article:
1. Ford projected that 80% of buyers would get hard tops. When problems with Webasto came up, Ford strongly suggested order holders to switch to soft tops. Which looks to be about 20% of order holders did.
2. Webasto is still struggling...
So Ford encouraged order holders to switch to soft tops to get their Broncos sooner. But they didnāt put into account that would cause an influx of soft top orders, which means theyāre now behind producing both soft and hard tops?
I feel like they like shooting them selves in the foot at this...
