I went to it as well and was rather underwhelmed by the production. You had to stand in line and wait for the folks ahead to get in and out, and when we were there, there was a big line behind us so there was some pressure to not take up too much time. My gf went as well, and we were both...
I use the Hoist-a-Top as well, and works great. And don't need to buy the electric version, just take off the handle and use a drill with a 3/4" socket.
**EDIT** And just noticed my old Bronco t-shirt hanging on the left side of the top photo... just waiting for the new horse in the stable!
LOL! I am a bridge engineer who also does insurance repair estimates for bridges that get hit by trucks just like this. I have seen this bridge more than a few times! It is crazy how often bridges get struck by loads that are too tall or backhoes on trailers with their buckets in the up...
Yeah, my truck is a 2006... remote start wasn't even a dream at that time LOL
Even with that, I often go out to go fishing or am in/around water (without cell service), and would rather my keys and phone stay safe and dry and locked in my vehicle when I'm hanging in the lake/stream/river and...
I use the keypad all the time. I wouldn't want a vehicle without it. Even one with such a fugly application as what we are seeing here. I will start the truck in the winter lock the doors and go back inside to finish my coffee... or have it at the lake and lock the keys/phone inside so...
Speaking of the brush guard, has anybody experienced this:
I'm currently building a 4D BL Sasquatch with a 2.7 and get this crazy message. And how is there no price change??
I cannot figure out why the f#*& you lose roof rails on a BL when you get the Squatch package or 2.7! It is infuriating! Why would that make a difference at all??
Hey fellow westerners! I just discovered this thread, and being from Boise, this is great news! Has anybody here talked to any dealerships in Boise or other places in Idaho? I talked to the Kendall dealership in Meridian and they said they would honor X-plan (this was before Ford apparently...
My second rig was an 84 BII in high school and college. Had an effing blast in that thing, and have always wanted another after I got rid of it. It looked just like this (but this wasn't mine):
I've only driven vehicles with analog gauges, and no screens, as seen here. Well, aside from my girl's JL... but I don't get to drive that very often. The off-road screens are pretty cool. I'm looking forward to some screens with more info!
Kinda... I've driven Jeeps before, and test drove the 20 JLUR, but then we ordered ours, and got a color we had never seen before. They didn't even have a sample online or at the dealership. But I figured we couldn't go wrong with Sarge Green  It was a great choice! I cannot wait to get...
I've gone through a lot of vehicles... 81 Chevy Luv, 84 Bronco II, 91 Ranger, 93 Ranger, 94 Explorer, 96 Explorer, 99 Jeep GC, 00 Expedition, 04 Excursion, 06 F-350, 06 Escalade, 07 Harley, 09 Escalade, 13 Audi S4, 13 370Z, 20 Rubi... 6 of them new. But I've been wanting another Bronco since my...
I've got a 6-speed MT in my Z.. and I love it because it is fun and an intimate driving experience, especially on windy mountain highways. I've got the auto in my F-350 and I highly appreciate it towing 50-foot trailers on those same highways. I've not done a ton of off-roading... mostly in an...
It took a little fiddling with to get to connect to the trailer and bluetooth to the phone, but once that get's settled, it's pretty seamless. Just don't throw away the little card in the package with the PIN number on it!
Or use this and then the manual brake controller is your phone and you don't need to install a physical controller or wiring adapter. I have one for our JL to tow a little camp trailer and it works pretty dang slick.
