You're in WV, you'll be fine, provided you aren't doing some 90 minute commute for work.
Myself? I live in SoCal, and the traffic/freeways (and the parking at my condo) are such that I'm likely going to get the Sport instead. But if I can move outta here, I'd totally get Sasquatch.
Get...
Eh.. the real limit is 3" blade, but if it's in your pocket, 2", but if you get stopped by some agencies, and they find a knife on you, you're taking a trip downtown first. (LA Co Sherrif for sure).
After seeing these... 51 is out, too washed out.. AB is out, too changling, and I imagine the Kodiak Brown on the Sport will do the same as AB, so..
If left to my own devices, it would be Cyber Orange, but wife has forbidden that (she comes from a land where taxis are that color), so...
Especially since Subaru is willing to die on the CVT hill..
Also considering that Jeep is going luxury boat with the upcoming Grand Cherokee redesign, longer and fatter. Where that leaves the Cherokee will be interesting.
But the "Why would Ford even make the Sport" comments.. :ROFLMAO:
I totally get the desire for and value of the full size.. but there's a lot of hurr durr dismissal of the Sport by people that apparently live .5 miles from Moab.. :D
This makes a lot of sense.. The Bronco Sport BL+BL is effectively Ford's Trailhawk. 4x4 capability on something that's more of a daily driver.
The full size rock crawler lifestyle is great if you're in a place where the vehicle can suit your driving.
The thing that irks me about that is the "no contest".. what contest? Rock crawling, mall crawling? snow crawling? Hurr durr crawling?
Buying a rock crawler as a city driver is a silly as taking a Prius for rock crawling.. :D
It's priced the same as Cherokee Trailhawk.. maybe that's why Jeep is giving bonus cash right now... :D
I get it with the Bronco... and like I said elsewhere, if I lived in NM right now, and not in SoCal, I'd be all over the big Bronco.. but.. I don't need to buy the bigger truck to...
I don't see what's the issue about length, unless is impacting interior space, which it isn't if you compare the numbers. Sport arguably has more interior space.
$38k for the Sport Badlands+Badlands, vs $48k for the Bronco Badlands loaded. so... sure, you can get a relatively base Bronco...
Yep, Ford should cancel all other vehicles except the Bronco.. no one would EVER need something besides the full size Bronco.. it's perfect for a 90 mile daily commute..
As much as I'd like the look and presence of the full size Bronco, I also live in SoCal, have constrained parking, and have to go at least 3+ hours or more to where the capabilities of the full size would come into play.
Meanwhile, the Sport will give me a lot better mileage and parking...
Totally this. Anything that isn't built by Ford is very subject to question. Lots of the specialty addons could easily be in short supply or non-existent due to factory delays/shutdowns.
Another thing to consider is that with the potentially large number of 3rd party options that aren't manufactured by Ford, supply and availability of those items may be very up in the air. Custom rims, parts for bumpers, lights, floormats? Who knows what's up with those 3rd party...
To be fair, the Sport configurator is very basic.. You select your model, select the +up package for that model (or not) and then just add towing, 360 sensor, roof rack, etc. There's a dearth of real choice beyond color.
So it's a lot simpler than the potential fleet of options that the...
