First time taking the doors off, because New England finally had good enough weather. Slightly a PITA compared to the wrangler I had. But love the ride and look.

My two cents on this whole thing is if you’re trading a vehicle in you’re not throwing away 15 grand, because they’re giving you more than your vehicle is worth or would’ve been worth a year ago. But if you’re not trading a vehicle in, winter the marquee equalizers just like people with houses...
That’s the same sub that I used. It works really well, I actually have the gains turned down pretty far. I’m mounted mine to my to the tailgate, so it doesn’t eat up much space when I want to put the doors in. As for getting the flash done, I just ran off the front kick panel speakers.

Yes, I end up doing sound deadening on the box area behind the sub and around where the latch mechanism is, and a little bit of sound deadening tape and two-sided tape on both of the plastic panels that clip in.
I drilled holes in the aluminum and it put nutserts in. There is four nutsetts holding it on, so it can always come off and all there will be a threaded holes.
I went through the same thing on my raptor. I ended up with 20s, because I live in New England and I wanted less sidewall flex in the Snow. Plus when actually running high speed on trails it was more stable. But I see where peoples concerns are with less sidewall, but if you go from 33 to 35...
