Trailrax uses one inch double rails. I'll try to answer any questions. Plus their phone support is good.

Thinking about door sill guards. Except for the "no step" guards If you get black, carbon fiber, etc, they almost say "step here." Which means they'll wear faster.
Clear (PPF) guards won't be as noticeable, so concentious passengers will step over the sill instead of on it. Therefore they...
The 2023 owners manual says to only use chains on the rear wheels. Also only 255/70R16 and 255/75R17 tires. And finally to use steel wheels since chains may chip aluminum wheels.

Don't need a breaker bar. I carry a 20V 3/8" impact driver. I used to carry a large 4 way lug wrench. Impact driver will loosen lugs after you've jacked it up. Gloves are highly recommended. And something to lay on.
I was at an RV show. Someone told me they put UV underbody light strips under their RV to keep rats away. I have no idea if it would work or not. Just throwing it out there.
Sorry, it's back on the truck. But there were no problems. Just thick enough wood so you can close the rear window. You could imitate the sides of your Bronco, but would need to drill holes for the locating pins. I didn't worry too much because it was only an hour or so. I'm sure someone on here...
I took mine off to install the Trail Rax Pax Rax. I put it on some wood 2x4, 4x4, don't remember. I think the bottom is flat other than the locating pins. You could drill holes for the locating pins if you wanted to be anal. :)
Thinking. I haven't really looked at mine, but maybe you could store it on end with the rear window on top. That would save some room. Just make sure you don't damage any weather stripping.
The window above the tailgate opens. I'd store it in the same position that it's mounted on the Bronco. Gravity.
The 2-door rear sections are longer than the 4-door rear sections.
Many newer cars always have coolant flowing through the heater core. They use air dampers to keep the passengers cool. It's one way to quickly defog a windshield in winter. Older cars would shut off coolant flow.
Rear section is 22" tall, 41" long. I suggest storing it with the window closed. Also you'll have to have it on 2x4s to protect the rear window gasket.
I completely agree. I was first thinking about using an AUX switch. Then realized I'd only be using the compressor with the hood open. There's a switch on the compressor. Saves an AUX switch for something else. I also agree that AUX 4, 5, or 6 make more sense. Save the high current switches for...
