Mickey Thompson Classic Locks (fake bead locks)
They don't make them anymore which is a shame. They were one of the few 15" wheels that had a 3-1/4" to 3-1/2" back space that could clear the knuckle of a 1976-1977 Bronco Dana 44.
My brother from a different mother! My teenage ride was a 68 Newport convertible, 383 also!
Did all the same things with it. I remember coming home with one rear tire bald.😜 My Dad asked me "what happened"? I replied "could it be the alignment? He wanted to align my head.😯
Sometimes I feel bad...
I went down the "Optima" road once. I bought a blue top for my boat, it didn't make it a whole season.
I'm in my mid 60's now, bought all types of batteries for all types of machines, Optima was my worst experience with a battery by far.
It's amazing how much they beat on a "new" vehicle to disassemble.
I guess if they got a Gen 1 Bronco in the shop, they would break out the 20 lb. maw and just beat it to smithereens.
If it was true that would be the first thing to secure after an accident. I'm surprised he didn't add diamond jewelry and gold bars to what was missing.
I should have taken the picture of the Bronco on what looked like 38's or 40's get stuck on the hill in the beginning of the sand course. More to do with driver error.
I'm so glad the rain held off until the afternoon.
