I've searched for this topic several times. Lots of posts looking for flaps that fit with OEM rock rails or steps but only found one that suggested reversing some steps (switching sides)
Has anyone added steps or nerf bars with mudflaps already in place? I'd rather not cut the OEM flaps.. Thanks.
It's really hard to establish any trend with the variable model constraints (specifically entry point low end units). A lot of people, myself included, would consider a $35k vehicle vs a $45k vehicle. Also we have no idea what things will look like when a consistent selection of Broncos are...
I installed the Curt hitch and wiring. Was maybe an hour job. The power wire i ran along the driver underside with zipties and used some heat tape in places. Followed a YouTube vid. Here's the wiring harness. You'll still need a mount but since I rarely use mine I just keep it tucked away...
I've had my front and middle panels off many times and never noticed a sharp edge but I know it comes up. The inconsistency of these tops is astounding. It actually makes me concerned about the future of tight specifications in any industry.
Much better video than what's out there. I replaced the kick panel and dash with Kickers a while back and was very happy with the difference but I'm dying without some decent bass. I had to rent a pretty basic Dodge 1500 for my daughter last week (all they had) and the stereo was light years...
I have 11k miles on my base, picked up last August. I believe the dealership wanted beteen 2500-3000 for extended warranty. I got 5y/100k for like $875 last week w Granger. It was on my Ford account in 24hrs. Sounds like some others are similar, but @Granger Ford is super active and responsive...
Welcome! FWIW I learned this type of claim is covered under comprehensive vs collision thus I have a $0 copay and won't count against my insurance. Something about things beyond your control don't count as collision.
Base system prior to 2023 was sorely lacking above and beyond a sub. If you care about music i'd budget in upgrades. even just straight swapping for better speakers makes a ton of difference.
Mine has something like this. If it sits under steady rain/mist for a while I guess some water wicks or oozes under the seal. When I start driving maybe 1-2tbsp of water drips onto the back seat from the back of the middle panel passenger side. Car wash... nothing.
About six months ago there were just a few in small suburb and I pretty much would recognize every one when i saw it again. Now I can't keep up at all.
I just had my first leak today after just 3mos. I haven't had the top off in over a month. I'm thinking the cool weather contracted some seals but who knows.
It's just impractical enough that it feels like a luxury without looking like a total clown
Also top off and doors off is what sold me and what I probably like the best
