The difference is not in the main part of the panel. that is identical to the older ones. the difference is in the little trim piece at the bottom of the panel it is a darker Grey color where the original was a light grey.
There is a perfect place to mount the Alarm. There is a gap between the airbox any the dash frame it will slide right in there and it is a snug fit. It provides easy access to the adjustment knob through the glove box.
At this point I think it would be easier to say which recalls I didn't get for My 21. Which are only two. I got the Rear child Safety lock, Seat belt, Rear camera, Engine Valve, rear shocks, Fuel pump, Seat Adjuster bolts, and now APIM recall. The only ones I haven't got it the Windshield...
How cold was it? I have been through five winters with my soft top and it sits outside 24/7 and My windows have not split. I have the IAG struts which actually opens the top higher that the prop rod. I would lean to a manufacturing defect.
If that switch is on back order, you can pick up Any switch in that part line and modify it. When I did mine way back in 21 the correct switch was on national back order, so I got one that I believe went is a maverick or F150 as it had the Button for the Bed light instead of the Mirror lights...

Showed Gordon a little love today and upgraded the console lid to the stitched version. One of the easiest installs I have done. It took longer to fish the lock out of the old lid thatn it took to install the new one.

Weird. I have the recall on my 21 Bronco ( that makes three with no fix yet), but I do not have it on my 24 DarkHorse. It was built 7/23 so it is right in the middle on the Date range for the Mustangs.
