“My dealer said…” that they thought my EG color choice helped me get my Bronco sooner. They speculated that Ford wanted more of that color on the streets. I did jump many similar builds ahead of me, so maybe…
I have the B&O, not sure if it’s the same, but it had a wiring harness too. I had to shift them around and work the amp underneath/beside them.
I actually haven’t drilled yet. Just double-sided tape, but think i have to go back in the secure it better.
I also have MJP6s in for kicks and they sound great. Obvs. less range than the stock ones (wich really also sounded pretty good), but good low range sound.
I have B&O and this is without aftermarket amplification.

You essentially just pull up on the trim pieces by the door, but those threads (I think) share pages from the shop manuals. (You can also find a link to DL to the...
The kick speakers ultimately use the same wiring from the head unit as the dash speakers, so would the DSP be able to differentiate?
To my untrained ear, the stock kick speakers definitely had a higher range than the MJP6's 10khz, but not as high as the dash...I think it's limited by build of...
Thanks for the replies — its definitely clear and not oily, so am sure it’s condensation then.Just a bunch of it dripping out of multiple weird spots (and on a cool night in New England)… definitely seems like it’ll get caught in the nooks and crannies. I should have rust-proofed on top of the...
Assume this dripping is just AC condensation (though I don’t think AC was on), but wanted a 2nd opinion.
After driving for a while, what appears to be water (clear, odorless, warm, but not hot) drips from two sides of my transmission pan. Video attached.
My coolant is also a little low (right...
Bought mine early April. The window sticker had the 22 price (not the 22.5 increase) and I got the $825 price protection discount (had to ask for it though as the dealer “forgot” about it).
There’s not PP for options (like the bumper) though.
Great write-up. Looks like you didn’t add an amp. How’s the sound and volume from the kick speakers?
There’s a hole under the kick speakers (covered by the black thing) you can route wires through.
I think so? They sound right and get plenty loud. With the engine off, a volume of 15 (half way) almost makes my ears hurt.
Note though, that the audiofrogs don’t fit easy and are hard to modify. They don’t have brackets you can snap off to fit, I had to cut off 2 of the holes and use washers...
Wanted to thank the OP and all contributors for the helpful info in this thread and forum. In case it's useful info to anyone else, I wanted to share the upgraded setup I ended up going with in my B&O system:
Dash: AudioFrog GS42s for all three speakers. I tried the JL C1-400s, but those...
Thanks for the write up.
I ended up clipping off one part of a hole on each side (so they end up looking a bit like a C). That provided enough material on each side for the screws to hold it securely.
They sound awesome — clearer than the JL C1-400s I had in there, but does seem like they’ll...
I’ve done all 4 doors — metal and plastic panel. Took a while, but I love the sound of the doors closing now — satisfying thunk.
Also will do the floor at some point. Maybe the tailgate.
